Dr Jassal and his staff has treated my best friend Joey for over 17 years. He has always offered us options and since we trusted him we took all of his advice and our dog was healthy, strong and well taken care until his last day. Dr Jassal also provided Joey and us final comfort and compassion right to the end. I recommend this clinic very strongly. Very satisfied patient Joey Virdo and his parents Ralph and Laura

I HIGHLY recommend that you take your pets elsewhere. The staff is great (very friendly and eager to help ) but I felt as though the doctor could care less about my sick dog and only cared about what money he could get out of me. I don't think the vet smiled once!. I felt very out of place and have never had this experience before. I won't be taking my dog back there and wouldn't recommend anyone else to go there either.

We have been taking our dog there for 8 years and we have no complaints. Dr Jassal is very knowlegeable and we always ask for him. Our dog was misdiagnosed one time by an emergency hospital, but dr Jassal found the real problem and prescribed the appropriate treatment. He also performed some surgery on him, nothing major, but everything went well. No complaints.

I agree with the negative reviews below. I have taken my dog here for 10 years and they try to take money from you any chance that you can. i have called a few times with small questions and rather than just answering my question, they try to get me to come in. this is what these jerks are like: they try to get you into the clinic to spend $ before weeding out other personalities, whereas our new vet does the opposite. they want us to make sure that whatever problem our dog is having is not environmental BEFORE going into the clinic and running tests for what is probably no reason. I don't even like the doctors here. they are cold and they are not friendly. i only came here because it was convenient and i advise people AGAINST taking there pet here. there are MUCH better vets out there.. ones who actually will care about your pet. ugh.

Drs. Jassal & Pakwahala are each very competent, caring and trustworthy. We highly respect their integrity in the care of our pet. We've been clients for 6 years now -- the staff is also excellent.

I have no idea what all these negative ratings are all about!! I take all of my 3 dogs to this clinic and truly love the treatment my pets receive. Not only is Dr. Jassal an experienced veterinarian he has saved 2 of my dogs by performing serious surgeries. The cost might be slightly high, but it is truly worth it. At the end of the day you pay for what you get, and this is by far the best clinic i have ever been too. I drive all the way from oakville because i cannot find another clinic like this. Love it and would highly recommend it!!

Please do not take your animal here.The staff is ok but the vet is extremely unfriendly.I felt that he was very aggresive in his nature.He was not soft spoken and compassionate in any way.Not a place you want to go when you are upset about your pet being sick.You do not come out feeling positive about your pets well-being.

My cats broke out in itchy bumps which was clearly indicative of a bacterial infection. Before they even examined them they insisted the itchy bumps on their necks was due to toothache and plaque buildup that would cost about $400+ a cat to fix. I instantly questioned the validity of their "diagnosis" (how could they both break out in itchy bumps at the SAME time? clearly it was some sort of contagion.. plaque doesn't cause that to happen) but they insisted over 10 times my cats needed dental work no matter how many times I told them absolutely not. They paid very little attention to the real cause of my visit. After 25 minutes of rejecting the vets and their assistants aggressive and unethical sales attempts they finally gave me the antibiotics to treat the real cause for my cats sickness. Horrible people. Never go there.

I truly feel that they don't value loyalty, and will try to get every penny they can. I understand that times are tough, but maybe they would have more business by making clients feel valued. I've been taking 4 cats here for years. Recent change at work causing me to move to USA next week. An appt was booked for today at 10:30am to update one of my cat's rabies shot. Unfortunately, this morning I was told that there's a problem with my paperwork, and that I had to rush into our Toronto office for an emergency mtg with HR and the company lawyer. As I had planned to return my rental car tonight, I couldn't reschedule my cat's appt for tomorrow, and didn't know what time I would be able to reschedule for later today. So, I asked if I could bring her in on my way to the office and then pick her up on my way home. They actually charged me for half a day's boarding. And they had to do NOTHING but put her in an EMPTY cage until my return! After all the money I have spent there over the years!

Don't take your animals here. I took my cat here to get fixed (male), he would not eat after, for a day and I called them to ask if it was normal/if they could take a look. They responded that it wasn't and that they need to charge me to look at them FOR THEIR MISTAKES. Normal vets would see the animal without charging you and schedule post surgery check ups. The doctor was unavailable for questions prior to the surgery and the staff was not knowledgeable. I took my cat to another animal hospital which I heard good reviews about and they helped my cat...he was hospitalized for 3 days....They should pay the bill for their stupidity!

Do not take your pet here if you love your animal. They are horrible and do not care about animals. They care more about money. They are not loyal - no matter how long you have been attending with your pet and truly do not care about the well being of any animal. They should be shut down - they are as in humane as a slotter house.

my cat's eye was pussing and they wanted to take xrays/brain scan and talked to me about putting her down since they've never seen a condition like that before and she's 18 years old. They took pictures and kept pressing down on her poor eye causing it to bleed. I took their antibiotics and chose not to continue without another opinion. It's been over a year and my cat's eye completely healed when i went to another vet for a diagnosis that she just had an infection.

The staff is surly and the veterinary care is substandard. I know of people who have had their cats misdiagnosed for simple diarrhea issues. They are afraid to handle difficult cats and send them home much too early. The prices may be good but you really do get what you pay for.

I have 2 doggies that get superior treatment there. They are greeted by all the staff by name when they arrive and after any treatment, a phone call is always received a day or 2 later to find out how my baby(ies) are doing. Highly recommended!! Rusty and Charlie love Dr. Jassal and his staff! Makes visiting the vet much easier for doggies and for mom!!
