Dr. Rae is amazing. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. She has called my home to check up on my dog when he was very sick "several times" and is very helpful with insurnace papers. She goes above and beyond for her pets. Love her and would definitely recommend her to others.

Dr Rae Melnychuk gives the hands-on care that one should expect from all Veterinarians. My only complaint was that she was not fully set up for surgery at that location, and maybe that has changed. But one could not ask for a more caring and conscientious Clinic to take their pets to.

Best vet clinic ever. I've dealt with numerous vets over the years but Dr. Rae and her staff (Anita) are the most caring, helpful professionals I've ever met. Make sure you have time to talk and have all your questions answered. You have to leave a message but they do get back to you. They are not all about the money as more and more vets seem to be. My old vet used to try to make me feel guilty for not allowing her to perform hundreds of dollars of tests on a 20 yr. old cat.

I called as a new client to inquire about vaccines, blood work and the cost of a spay for my newly adopted rescue dog and was pretty much turned away and told to go elsewhere. This clinic does not offer spay/neuter services for pets. What kind of veterinary clinic is this?! I then asked if I could bring my dog in for a quick nailtrim, and I was told no, they do not do nailtrims either?!

Wow what a rude receptionist. Called to see if I could book an appointment for a new pet. She cut me off mid sentence. Vets away not booking new appointments. The reviews say the vets are good, perhaps but definitely need to work on basic manners with admin staff. God job there are hundreds of other clinics in the city.

We have been taking our dogs to Dr. Rae for over 20 years, it is a small office, very busy but we have never been turned down for an appointment. The care is excellent, whatever the issue is it is always explained in detail and different options are given. She and her staff spend plenty of time with the animals making sure that they cover all basis and provide the best care, everyone we have ever referred was amazed with the services provided and very reasonable fees. She has a very heakthy approach to treating the animals and tells you the way "it is" and wht to expect. I would never consider taking the pups to another vet.

We have been taking our dogs to Dr. Melnychuk for over 20 years! I wouldn't go anywhere else. We trust her judgement totally. The clinic is friendly, clean and the staff are fabulous.

This vet office is awesome. They care so much about the animals. They will get back to you even when they are closed. Amazing staff and Vet. Highly recommend.

Love her and Trust her with my most cherished friends, my animals. She goes above and beyond to help you make decisions that are right for you, and your situation.I've never met a more caring physician,human or veterinary and I highly recommend her.

They don't get more caring than this!!!! Dr Rae is highly in demand, so you may have to wait a day or two.... but if you make it known that it is an emergency, she will leave no stone unturned to help. It is not a surgical facility and they work in concert to refer you to the appropriate dr's/surgeons. I think there is more due diligence here than in most human doctors' offices. They are busy, very, very busy ...... and it is because of the thorough level of care they provide. Dr Rae provides you with as much info as possible so that you as the owner you can continue the best care for your pet. As for the individual who had moved to the area and wanted Rae to take on her pets, it is more likely that your previous vet clinic simply neglected to comply ..... it was my original experience.

Just go. Yes, they are not huge and may be a tiny bit offputting on the initial contact (or not), but the caring, quality, and value are truly outstanding. The comments around "talker", etc. are Dr. Rae giving you more info than you will hear anywhere else. It's way better than the alternative. She has been our vet for 20 years and there will be no one else.

Dr. Rae and her staff - what can I say - they are the best. I have been taking my pets to her for years and value her persistance in getting a diagnosis as quickly as possible. If she were a G.P., I would be happy to see her and feel that she would do everything possible for me. She is truly amazing.

Dr. Rey was recommended by a consumate dog lover. We love and trust Dr. Rey. She is thorough and caring. She is committed to the animal. Her staff is amazing. If she cannot properly diagnose she does not waste time or money and quickly refers one to a specialist. Yes, it is impossible to have a quick visit, but a thorough committment to my pet is important to me.

So here it goes: I moved and started looking for a new vet. This one has good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I called and the receptionist was really nice, asked me a lot of questions. I was told that I would be able to book an appointment only after they get the records from former vets. The receptionist promised to take care of it and give me a call. After a week I called them again and was told that the records were not there yet. Again, she promised to call me back. Another week of silence... I called them and they said they were sorry, but it was "one of these situations". The lady sounded as if they lost the note with my and my dog's data. I patiently gave the details again and waited. Then last Friday she left a message on my voicemail saying they WOULD NOT be able to accept my dog. That they are a small practice, blah blah blah..After three weeks, numerous calls and all that effort. BTW, all I wanted was an annual checkup and vaccinations... Come on, that's ridiculous.

I called to ask for prices on a surgery since I live a few steps away from this place. I had gone there with a pet for shots a while ago and now wanted my next cat fixed. Since they are an office, they do not perform surgery on site and told me I had to wait months for availability. The staff does take FOREVER on the phone and can chat your ear off. I needed to find someone more reliable so they didn't work out in the end.

Dr. Rae is great...very caring and knowledgable and goes out of her way for her patients. The only drawback is...don't expect to get out of there quickly, she's a talker and a quick vet trip can last well over an hour.

Dr. Rae and her staff are always wonderful. Helpful, kind, accomodating and most importantly good to my dogs. An outstanding Dr., who has an obvious passion for her work...I feel lucky to have someone like her looking after my dogs' health.

Dr. Rae is everything I want in a vet, and more. Her pricing is better than fair, and her dedication is obvious. I have recommended her to everyone I know and they all love her as well.

Dr. Rae goes well beyond what I expect from a vet. I've called her at all hours with very sick pets and she's been extremely helpful. Her staff is very friendly and everyone clearly loves the animals that they see. She's a keeper!

A fabulous doctor, who understands the needs & moods of animals...Dr. Rae has also been known to make housecalls for her regular patients who are ill...highly recommend!
