The doctor suggested she be euthanized. I said NO. She then proposed a home euthanization. I emphatically said NO. I might add this visit was VERY expensive. Bottom line is I then took my cat to regular vet, and it is 2 months later. The cat has recovered. Totally improved. It took meds, dedicated care, but she is doing well, has gained her weight back. I am waiting a couple of weeks until I go full-force at South Metro and a vet that IMO should be fired. I put a review on another site, but it seems it has been deleted. I stick by my experience.      4/24/12   1     3     1     2   We came in with our puppy screaming in pain from a possible dislocated shoulder we thought! After an x-ray, it confirmed a broke in the leg through the growth plate. After being told to go home & they would call us after a few hours when he was resting comfortably, I ended up calling to find out how he was. I could hear him in the background still wimpering in pain. To make this comment short, after being referred by my Vet the next AM to the U of M for surgery, it was there that they questioned me as to why this clinic; 1) casted his leg this way; (was told that this type of break, should have included his shoulder in the cast to prevent movement of the bone @ his elbow - every movement my puppy did caused pain because cast wasn't done right) 2) they prescribed a pain medication that wasn't appropriate for this type of injury & his pain level. You would think if you went to the U of M Vet school, their would be consistency. NEVER, NEVER WILL I GO HERE IN AN EMERGENCY! RID: 33728
