My Maltese Bella Turner was 3 years old and Dr Sherry Woods vaccinated her with DA2PP Annual, Leptospira, Bordetella Injectable, and I asked if it is ok to give her shots early because they weren't due until August and it was June 14th and she was getting groomed on June 18th so she needed Bordetella Dr Woods said she woud be fine.....with in 24 hours she was not feeling good and by the next day she had fever and wasn't eating. I took her in the next day and they told me she needed a blood transfusion and our chances of loosing her were a 50/50 chance......She died on June 29th from these vaccines. You should never give a small dog Leptospira Annual vaccine at all. She was an indoor dog and this vet should never of done this....Please be careful and don't make this mistake like I did.....Owners need to do there home work. Please go to remarkable me Bella's story and there is a video on vaccines. I will not go back to Tara Animal Hospital again......
