Ran up an astronomical bill without conferring about all charges. Refused to answer specific questions about charges and drugs being used on my dog. Administered a drug that I later discovered is very controversial and has been reportedly linked to animal fatalities. My dog died a few days later. I will NEVER bring an animal to this guy again. Click to report rating    10/5/11   4     4     4     1   Dr. Norton did NOT seem to know what he was talking about and just trying to make a buck. The receptionist told me to bring in samples of their **** to test for heartworms but that she could but them both together for $30 instead of $60. Later when we spoke with the doctor, he did not even mention it. One of my dogs had a limp and had developed multiple areas of swollen tissue around her shoulder and chest. After examining her, he came back and said he had no idea why she was limping and recommended some pain meds which I declined because I didn't want to cover up the problem, I wanted to find the source. We called about a week later because her limp was getting worse, and found out the pain meds were actually an anti-inflammatory. We will be picking those up today as well as making another appointment at a different vet. RID: 28094
