I live a good distance away and drove 1-1/2 to this office to have my mini pig spayed. Was adviced to arrive for my appointment between 8:15a-10a, and to not feed my pet. I arrived around 9a and was told the surgery would take place sometime between 12p-2p, which then I would be able to pickup between 4:30p-6p-pending recovery. After killing time all day in Boca, I received a phone call at 4p to be told there was a delay and surgery will begin shortly... also i would then get another call back to confirm the surgery has begun. Pickup window would be after hours, between 6p/7p. I was frustrated that i was not given a courtesy call earlier, when the surgery didnt happen as scheduled. Then, an hour went by, and still no call for surgery start. I went into the office to get a status. Young desk clerk was told that now the surgery will begin at 6p, and would be able to pick up at 9p. I once again expressed my frustration abou RID: 71241

Click to report rating    8/1/17   1     1     1     1   I could't have been assigned to a worse Vet Clinic than this one. I adopted my puppy from Little Paws of Love (another really bad review will come out of this, but that's another story) and was "assigned" to go to Dr. Lund's office for my puppy's first visit, neuter, deworm, vaccines , etc. RID: 64325
Click to report rating    3/8/13   3     4     3     2   Dr. Scott is a good vet with a little to much concern about his bottom line. They will routinely vaccinate dogs with combination vaccines, even dogs presented with compromised health. The facilities are nice for vet-visits,but my experience with their grooming and boarding facilities has plenty room for improvement. Dr. Scott and his wife have excellent "bedside manners" but seem to rely heavily on phone consultations with UF when presented with even a slight uncommon breed of dog. I would not hesitate to recommend them for routine care if you're aware of the risk to have your dog exposed to over-use of vaccines, but my birds and exotic animals need more specialized knowledge. If personality is a more important than professional experience when selecting a vet - this should be your go-to office. RID: 40933

Click to report rating    11/22/11   5     5     5     5   I've been taking my dogs to Lund Animal hospital for 12 years and wouldn't dream of taking them elsewhere. Dr. Scott is fantastic - he's been there to take care of my new puppies and to say good-bye to my trusted friends, and the level of service and caring is no less than exceptional. Most importantly, Dr. Scott will always and swiftly make referrals when one of my dogs has had issues beyond his facility's ability. If you love your animals, bring them here. RID: 29334
Click to report rating    4/19/11   5     5     5     5   Dr. Scott is the best. His staff is friendly and helpful. Wish I had always taken my animals to him. RID: 24489
Click to report rating    3/26/11   5     5     5     5   Lund Animal Hospital is the best! Scott & Kristy are the most caring vets I have ever known & I have known many. They saved the lives of two of my pets when they were ill; when it came time for me to let go of my pets due to serious illnesses, they were my soul savers due to my grief. I love both of them dearly. RID: 23881
Click to report rating    4/12/09   5     5     5     5   I have had horrible experiences with vets so I have always been VERY selective! Lund is the BEST! I'm a pet sitter and I have referred over 30 clients to them because I believe in what they do. Scott and Kristy Lund have helped me many times with stray animals I have rescued and not charged me the prices like other local vets said they would. I stand by their services! RID: 12408
Click to report rating    5/3/07   1     1     2     1   Vets here are dishonest. Prescriptions are constantly short changed. I counted my dog's Medrol medication. It was several tablets short every single time, even when I specifically requested that they double checked the count. The boarding service is very poor. The front desk receptionists say they walk dogs 3 times a day. The dog-walkers at the back told me they only walked dogs twice a day. I asked for boarding price/service list in writing, they said they don't have it. And when I toured the boarding facilities at the back, they were doing laundry of towels in the same room as the dog cages. The entire room was steaming. All the dogs looked miserable. If a vet would cheat on prescription medication on a regular basis (because most people do not bother to count their pet's medication), he can cheat on anything, unnecessary tests, surgeries, prescription, and false diagnosis, etc, just to boost revenue. Don’t they teach ethics at UF? RID: 3757
