Click to report rating    2/13/08   1     2     1     2   Have been there on several occasions and would not recommend except for a simple emergency like suturing a laceration. Vets are inexperienced baby docs (recent graduates), inadequately trained to handle anything serious. Brought my CRF cat there when she crashed - she was taken from me against my wishes, we waited a half hour before a tech asked permission to insert an IV, and another ninety minutes to see a vet. I had to ask that her PCV and BP be checked. BP was 200, which they said was normal (it's not). It was obvious she had a stroke but they didn't seem to know what to do. Several hours later they said she'd thrown another clot, was brain-dead and should be euthanized. I have her records, sloppy and inaccurate, and they did little but watch her die. I deeply regret bringing her there. Could relate other unpleasant EVC experiences but for space limits. For a real emergency, head for Angell, Tufts - anywhere but there. Wish I had taken her and run with the first red flag. RID: 7306

The prices aren't cheap, but you can't exactly shop around for a better price when it's 2am on Christmas morning and your cat needs to be seen immediately. All in all, they seem to be good at what they do. RID: 6780
Click to report rating    9/12/07   2     4     3     1   I have had nothing but problems with this vet some of the vets there are nice but i believe others there are just in it for money i believe they are at fault for the deaths of one of my pets they also gave my friend a hard time to get her "dying" puppy back after an hour they finally gave her her puppy back she brought the dog to another vet that said she had a ill kennel cough and would be fine with a some meds RID: 5884
