The first time I took my rescue puppy there a vet tech tried to tell me she had tartar & needed her teeth cleaned. This was an out and out lie. Puppy's teeth were & still are perfect. They insist on doing heartworm tests every 2 years despite dogs being on preventative year round. Unnecessary & just a means to jack up their fees. If they don't do the test every 2 years you cannot get meds from them. I've owned dogs for nearly 70 years & never heard of such nonsense. Plus I've never had a dog get heartworms.
