Stay Clear of this Veterinarian! Based strictly on Tim Holt's character, we cannot nor will we ever recommend him. Our choice to terminate his services was not only for the health of our horses, but most importantly for the health of my children. Dr. Holt was providing steroids to my son, off of his truck! Tim is corrupt, untrustworthy, a hypocrite and conniving. As in many of the negative reviews on Tim Holt, I must agree he is priced on the higher end, and Dr. Holt is unreliable. He doesn't have a full time staffed office, his equipment/tools are appalling w/filth, a majority of his medications look extremely old & out of date, and his attitude and remarks about women are uncalled for and demeaning. Dr. Holt doesnt offer on-site medical care or boarding for ill animals that need round the clock care.
Dr. Keaton Arnold in Terrell on FM 2578 is the best veterinarian around. With all the class, knowledge, equipment, staff, experience, facilities, and INTEGRITY Dr. Holt clearly lacks.

DR. HOLT LACKS THE CONCERN AND RESPECT TOWARD HIS PATIENTS AND CLIENTS HIS RESPONSE TIME IS SLOW AND DONE ON HIS TIME...IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY DO NOT US THIS VET HE IS SLOW IN RETURNING EMERGENCY CALLS We used Dr. Holt...NOT anymore. Dr. Holt will not return your calls whether you have a life and death emergency or not. Always having an excuse as to why you have not heard from him. Missing appointments, ignoring calls, making up lies. His prices are way too high! The State Board has a complaint file for him. He has lost touch with genuineness and uprightness. When he does show up he displays very peculiar and unscrupulous mannerism. His total appearance, attitude, health and practice obviously have plummeted since we first hired him as our vet over 10 years ago. I will not and do not ever recommend using Dr. Holt to any person.
