Click to report rating    3/21/12   2     4     3     1   I have taken both my dogs to summerfield animal hospital for almost a yr. every regular visit is no less than $200. My last visit cost $300, when I asked the vet tech if the doctor would take a look at something that concerned me on my dog (which I took the opportunity b/c I was there for a heartworm test and Ive always been told the test included an exam) I heard her tell the tech "make sure she knows it will cost her an exam". I told her no exams have always been Included and she said, " no, only for new patients". Then when I got home I notice ed on my bill they charged me $170 for a 6 month supply of HW prevention. I called and simply asked what they charge for a 6 month supply and I was told $114. I let them know who I was and asked why the difference. They said b/c it was bought for 2 dogs instead of 1 and it was 2 different accounts. Never again! RID: 33030
