Click to report rating    1/7/10   3     3     3     2   i've had good and bad experiences here. on the up side, they're open 24 hours and i've found them helpful over the phone when i've needed advise as to whether to take my dog in or treat from home first (they've given me both answers). on the downside, i do think they're overly fee modivated. when my dog was a puppy, they told me that she had a severe resperatory infection, and they had me come in repeatedly for x rays and antibiotics. it cost a FORTUNE. finally i made them show me the x rays, and i was like -- umm, there's nothing wrong with this dog! i took the dog home, and the dog was fine. (she still does the exact same thing, which it turns out was just a sneeze.) i also had a friend who worked there, and she was also concerned that they were just in it for money :( RID: 16054
Click to report rating    1/31/09   1     2     1     1   Avoid this place at all costs. I would never take an animal friend that I cared about to this fee-motivated place. After a week of so called care (and $4,500.00), these people called me and told me they could not do anything for my dog - that I should come take him off their hands. This is not the first time I've had or heard about such experiences. Don't be fooled by the perky attitude...this organization cares about fees, not about animals. They use your love for your pet to obtain large credit deposits before they will even consider "caring" for your pet. There are other 24-hour clinics that are not far away - its worth the extra drive...places that care about you and your pet, rather than your credit card. RID: 11433
Click to report rating    6/9/07   2     4     4     3   The vet was nice and caring, however, the girl at the front desk was VERY rude. When I changed my mind on the form of payment she acted as if made a huge ordeal---never mind that my pet was very sick. It may sound trival, but when your pet is dying this is the last thing that you want to deal with. Losing your pet is a very painful thing and having to deal with a uncaring person makes it even worse. I would have to be very hard pressed to ever go back. RID: 4469
Click to report rating    5/9/07   5     5     5     5   Dr. Calder and Dr. Walker are the absolute best! They are completely dedicated to providing superior pet care with an empathetic approach! When other doctors saw no way out they offered me suggestions on alternative methods in correcting my dogs injury. It's worth saying again "they are simply the best"! RID: 3843
