Click to report rating    12/16/18   2     4     3     3   The staff has no idea what they're doing and to whom! Once my dog got a leg surgery there and we brought him back to get staples removed and they clipped his nails?? ANOTHER time, same dog, we went for xrays for his leg and a worker walked in the room talking about euthanasia?!?! SHE HAD THE WRONG ROOM. WRONG DOG. Could you imagine if we handed her our dog?!?! DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR ANIMAL RID: 67125
Click to report rating    10/22/18   1     5     1     1   This was the WORST experience I have had with a veterinarian. My English bulldog got pregnant and it was not planned. When I explained to them about my Male bulldog penis was bleeding for 3 weeks and was taken to the vet in lapeer and was told that his penis was bleeding because she pulled out they wanted to keep her until she went into labor even though I gave them a date that this happened on. They did an ultrasound for nothing because she wont give me a due date or how many puppies. They were only worried about the money and not my dogs wellbeing. No instructions on the Csection that I set up on Saturday because they weren't going to be keeping her thats for sure. They cut her from first nipple to last nipple then stitched her so now she hurts so bad she wont feed her puppies so we have to bottle feed them. She got sick after she woke up so they did an xray and didn't even tell us but charged us 60. Then charged us a total of 731. Mom still is not doing well. DO NOT TAKE OUR BABIES RID: 66936
Click to report rating    6/14/18   5     5     4     5   the best care and expert analysis on every dog or cat that l have brought there, and we have been going to Dr. Wilson 1996 RID: 66315
Click to report rating    3/9/18   1     2     1     4   Only good thing here is the price. They're cheap, and the quality of their emergency work is a reflection of this. You get what you pay for, don't use this clinic for anything other that routine check ups for your animal. There are other clinics with more experienced staff members and more knowledgeable doctors that would be better suited for an emergency then Wilson's. RID: 65724
Click to report rating    7/24/17   1     1     3     4   I have had many problems and just a horrible experience for over 2 weeks.. From torturing my dog because they couldn't find a vein in 3 legs to giving her razor burn on all 3 legs. Got mixed directions from multiple doctors and waited over a week for a doctor to call me only to have a tech call with instructions that didn't make sense. To calling the emergency number for advice because she had a breakthrough seizure while changing meds. The tech said to put her back on the lowest dosage of the previous med & to bring her back in to have levels checked. Instructions were confusing. After the tech talked to the doctor AGAIN the doc said it was normal to have a breakthrough seizure even on a regular regimen. I explained that she hadn't one in 4 years & ask why would she have one now. She had no answer. I explained how displeased I was with the level of care and follow up with the veterinarians and the hospital and advised that I would never return. RID: 64250
Click to report rating    4/25/15   1     3     1     3   My dog went in for surgery and they promptly called me after to tell me surgery went well. The following day I receive call backs that she wasn't eating but really we not concerned. Then I got a call that " oh she died, we tried everything". I will never ever return to this place again. Click to report rating    4/9/15   1     5     1     1   I have been Dr. Wilson's client for more than 16 years.I have always been happy with him, he really is good. But since his practice has grown it has become so difficult, most of the time impossible to see him and the practice is horrible! My most recent bad experience there was when my beloved Ruby was sick.A doctor at one of the satellites recommended that I take Ruby to Wilson 24 hour service to continue her IV and in the morning I was to pick her up and bring her back.Upon our arrival,I told the reception that Dr. St.Jean had spoke to the manager and Ruby was to be admitted for the night to be on the IV,to keep her warm and monitor her.The reception told me that they didn't know who the doctor spoke to and I asked them to go find out, I was told there are so many people there she just didn't know.I said do you want me to walk around and find out?WTH?Apparently they don't understand that it is their job to help clients and SICK patients. Finally, she was admitted. Click to report rating    12/28/12   1     3     4     3   I have been going here for a couple of years now with my dogs but today experience was HORRIBLE. All the vets i have seen that work at the Wilson Veterinary Hospital in Romeo are great but the the one i had today should not have a job at a veterinary hospital or working with animals at all. My puppy is still shaking and scared from his experience today. He handled my dog roughly and held him down with his body weight and persistently yelled at him. my puppy so scared or it was from all the pressure of the vets bodyweight on him my puppys anal glands squirted on the table and partially on the wall. When i left i called to complain but they told me to do it online so hopefully someone sees this that can do something about what happened. The vet i had name was Todd Steggall and i made sure the receptionist put in my file that i will never have him as a vet again. RID: 39273

10/30/11   2     3     2     2   Please be very careful if you leave your pet at Dr. Wilson's hospital. There is a severe lack of communication between the vets and staff members lack compassion and concern. There prices may be competitive, but you get what you pay for. The techs are TERRIBLE and the receptionists act like you are ruining their day if you call with a few questions. Please make sure to review bloodtest results as well as all records, if your pet is hospitalized. If possible, avoid this clinic if you have another hospital you can visit. Your pet's life is at risk. Honestly. I am speaking from personal experience. Please proceed with extreme caution. RID: 28708
Click to report rating    3/1/11   1     2     1     1   It was unfortunate that my dog ended up at the Sterling Heights and ultimately the Washington Clinic. The clinics are poorly run, there is an utter lack of communication and most importantly compassion. Could not get Dr. Wilson to return my call or explain any treatment plan. I was lied to and misled regarding care, procedures and my dogs status. And worst of all my dog was left to suffer in excrutiating pain. I would never recommend this office or Dr. Wilson to anyone for any animal. RID: 23242
Click to report rating    11/27/10   5     5     5     5   Dr. Wilson, Dr. Kirby and all of the other vets & vet techs at Wilson's are incredible. We've been going here for years. We recently moved an hour away, but still make the drive because this is the only vet we trust. If you love your pet, take them here. We have tried to replace this vet with one closer to home, but none compare. We will continue making the drive to get our pets the best care. They really love animals at Wilson's and treat owners with respect. Also quite affordable. Our little lab had knee surgery here, and Kelly did the rehabilitation in the pool they have there. My lab loved Kelly and recovered quickly. I would never take my dogs anywhere else. Can't say enough good things about this facility. Clean and state of the art equipment. Washington (Romeo)location is open all hours, so excellent place for emergencies. Sterling Heights location on Van****is great too. You can trust this vet to care for your pets. Honest and Caring people. The best in Michigan. RID: 21113
Click to report rating    1/15/10   5     5     4     5   I had recently moved, but his is by far one of the best vets I had ever had! They will answer your questions and their prices are great. When I moved out of state, but had not found a vet yet; I had a question because my dog ate 2 raw chicken **** the staff was very kind and took my questions over the phone and gave me advice about what to do. I highly recommend this vet to my family and friends all of the time! RID: 16158
Click to report rating    1/13/10   3     3     3     3   Due to the closeness to my home, I have been going to this clinic for 4 yrs. The clinic is very clean and the medical treatment is A+ but I find the staff and some of the vets are extremely rude and unsympathetic. The cost is pretty good compared to other clinics I have gone to. RID: 16117
Click to report rating    11/4/09   5     5     5     5   I have been using this clinic for years and have had MANY visits. The doctors are all excellent- knowledgable, caring, first rate. The fees are very reasonable and when one of my dogs needed emergency care they started treatment immediately! After she was stable, they came in to collect a VERY REASONABLE deposit. The total bill was less that the estimate. I feel lucky to have such an advanced facility so close to home! RID: 15188
Click to report rating    11/25/07   5     5     4     5   Dr. Wilson is a wonderful doctor. I have a bulldog and he specializes in bulldog problems. The staff was very helpful and when my dog was sick, I was able to call and check on him at night because they have 24 hour care. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. The prices are great and the care my Harley received was outstanding. RID: 6478
Click to report rating    6/27/07   5     5     3     5   I trust Dr. Wilson with many things!! He has some other good vets there too. I like the after hour prices and he's open every Sunday without an extra charge. As with any vet, he is not a specialist in every area.....The prices are very reasonable. The problem is that Dr. Wilson has spread himself very thin.......and is often difficult to get to see when you seen to see him in his field of expertise! RID: 4903
Click to report rating    6/21/07   1     4     3     3   My dog was hospitalized for two weeks. Because she had a disease that required her to be fed almost upright, I questioned the manner in which the staff was feeding her, slightly elevated. I also received conflicting information from one doctor to the next. I asked to speak with Dr. Wilson regarding my concerns. Dr. Wilson came into my exam room and asked what is the problem without ever introducing himself. I had to ask him for his name before I began to mention my concerns. Right after my first sentence, he blurted out "don't you know your dog is going to die?" If my dog was able to walk out of that hospital we would have left right then. Unfortunately she wasn't able to. I continued to talk with Dr. Wilson letting him know that he may be right but I expect the best care possible while she is in his hospital's hands, no matter what the condition. Needless to say as soon as my dog was able, I discharged her and have never been back. The only good thing was a payment plan. RID: 4720
Click to report rating    5/15/07   5     5     4     5   I love this vet and everything about them. They have always been great to us, charge fair prices and take good care of my dogs and cats. RID: 3907
Click to report rating    5/15/07   2     5     5     5   Staff at front desk can be very rude..Price and vet care are great!!! I would reccomend this place.. RID: 3891
Click to report rating    5/15/07   4     5     3     4   I have been taking my pets here for a couple of years now and have been very satisfied. I would reccommend this office. RID: 3886
Click to report rating    5/14/07   1     5     3     3   The medica recieved at this facility was phenominal. The vets are very caring and knowledgeable. They're fee's are fair but i want to caution anyone who is having a hard time with finances and needs emergency care....this is not the facility for you. Payment is due in full upon treatment and they offer absoutely no payment plan, and do not accept post dated checks. Ever. The staff can be extremely rude and judgemental when this situation presents itself. If you've got cash on hand you will treated like your pet's health is critical. If you don't...... I recommend Romeo Veterniary Hospital. They are kind, professional, and are willing to work with you and show you compassion. RID: 3872
