Our cavalier also had seen a cardiologist in conjunction with Dr.Jory for several years with no issues, when our cardio retired I looked to find another cardio and ended up going to Blue Pearl. I have previously mentioned this Dr. Jory that we would be seeing another cardio. Our cavalier went into CHF with fluid while we were in between cardios and Dr. Jory took excellent care of him. We finally got in to see the cardio and there was a med tweak for one of the diuretics Dr Jory prescribed. I received a call from his staff informing me that he will no longer see our boy for his heart (the main reason we see him). The reason given was that we changed the protocol of the diuretic from the cardio advice at Blue Pearl. Dr Jory would not reconsider even after I pleaded with his staff that I would discontinue using a cardio and use him only. He will not speak directly to me about this He has always told me that he loves his patients like they are his own and I cannot believe this now.

Dr. Jory Olsen is awesome! He is the 3rd specialist we saw for regurgitation/ digestive issues and honestly the only one to figure out what was going on and find a solution to manage her condition. All the staff was super friendly and helpful any time we needed anything. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Jory and Dr. Diana Olsen are both amazing vets. They have treated all three of my animals (two dogs and a cat) and literally saved the lives my cat and dog. Yes it is expensive when you have a sick pet, but I do feel as though they are willing to work with your budget. They are very knowledgeable and will do what it takes to save your pet. I have seen comments on here that say the doctors or rude or insensitive and I have to say that I personally do NOT find that to be true! They would call every afternoon to give me an update on my dog who had surgery and had to be there for 5 days and tried everything possible to stay within the price we had discussed before my dog (who was VERY sick)was admitted. Then they even had a vet tech meet me after hours to pick up my dog because I had to work. I think the front desk staff is very nice too. They are doing a great job especially when you consider all the animals and people they are dealing with on a daily basis. Thank you GAVMG!

GAVMG gave my dying cat 4 more years of happy life. They were recommended by someone who said they were the only Vet able to help their dog, and I recommend them whenever I have the opportunity. My cat had lost a third of his weight and was dying and no other Vet could help him. GAVMG said they could give him a couple more years with treatment. He lived twice as long and I enjoyed him for 4 more years. They are not cheap but they are the best and you really get what you pay for. They helped me by charging me expensive medicine at cost.

I have used this clinic for over 10 years extensively since I have multiple cats. The Olsen's have commendable expertise with complex issues such as cancer and inflammatory bowel and other rarer items. Since Dr. Jory Olsen is an internist, his additional training and experience are a very helpful and convenient since you can be referred over. The support staff seems well trained and caring. In the past there was turnover on the front desk but it has settled down and you are known by name when you call. The clinic is very clean, new and runs efficently. Considered the very sick pets that Dr. Jory O. sees, everything seems to be managed well. I highly recommend them and have referred others.

Diana and Jory Olsen are excellent vets. I have been taking my animals to them for almost 10 years. They are compassionate and knowledgeable. I would not trust my two dogs to anyone else!

Dr. Diana Olesen is really careless and rude. She acts like your animal is a burden...no passion behind her work at all. Also I heard the way she spoke to some of her employees and i'm surpirsed she has anyone to work under her at all. Will never go back

I LOVE THEM-They are the best vets I have ever been to-they always let me go back with my animals- they sometimes take them first to weigh them but then bring me right back. Vets are expensive these days we have to get used to that if we own animals.Their scope of knowledge is exceptional and I feel very lucky to have found them

The doctors and staff of this clinic are wonderful. They are always friendly, helpful, and very gentle with my pets. Their knowledge is well beyond the average spay/neuter and vaccinate clinic, and they make sure you are educated about your pets' conditions and how best to treat the special needs of their patients. Top care is their priority, not the fees they can charge. Thanks to Dr. Diana Olsen's surgical skills and Dr. Jory Olsen's medical skills treating cancer, I was given several additional years with my cat. I will never go anywhere other than this clinic.

Took my cat here to get a check up and it ended up costing me over $200 for things she "needed" done, tests that cost a fortune only to come back negative. It is $50 just to see the vet, that should have been my clue that this facility is over priced and only concerned on making a quick buck. I wont be bringing my animal back here ever.

Front office is filled with people that really do not care about the paying customer. They must have a revolving door for front office staff because it is uncommon for me to see the same person twice & I'm there about every 6 months to buy dog food.
They are overpriced, non-informative about things I should watch for. My dog was in 2 years ago to remove two teeth due to infection. They never told me that in small dogs infection in the mouth was common & that they should clean the teeth on a regular basis. They just removed 8 of her teeth & charged me the “Discounted” price of $700.00. The reason? They were infected due to tartar build up. I will not go back ever.

This is the WORST and most unprofessional vet practice I have ever come across. We chose this vet based on convenience of location and really regret that decision now. Prepare for your pet to be muzzled and to be told that you can't go back to the examining room with your pet. So if you are looking to traumatize your pet ... this is where you take them!

I have been taking both of my dogs (Peter & Polly), & my cat (Bela) here for around 2 years. The staff & doctors are awesome here!! They are very knowledgeable & caring about your pet's individual needs. They have been able to squeeze us in for emergencies, & have always been accommodating even though I'm sort of a high-maintenance customer that's completely nuts about my pets & I expect the best care for them. Dr Olsen has always been kind, gentle & caring with my pets. I recommend GAVG to all of my friends. They are the best vet hospital that I have found.

Spent over $500 dollars because my dog was sick. The vets did a million test and came up with nothing, just prescribed meds that did not work. Had to go to town and country spent about half $250 but found out what was wrong within hours. The vet Dr. Diana was rude and acted like I was taking up her time. Front desk are a bunch of high school girls who were clueless. This is the worst vet I have ever gone to. Save your $ and your time and go somewhere else.

Way overpriced for the vaccines as well as medication and surgery. I would recommend not going there unless there is a serious problem with you animal because it will take a HUGE chunk out of your wallet. The doctors however are experienced and would definitely be able to save your dog as long as you had the money. The staff was awesome and the exam rooms were very clean.

Doctor's Diana and Jory Olsen are incredible. We have a 13 year old Samoyed who has experienced a LOT of health issues and I am sure he would not be here today if it had not been for them and their staff. They are all excellent and we wouldn't think of going any place else. From the front desk to the doctor's themselves, they are kind, courtious, knowledgeable and the list could go on. Keep up the great work!

Dr. Jory Olsen is a god-send. He treated my cat, Tybalt, who was having seizures caused by toxoplasma. Back in the mid-90's Tybalt was given only months to live by my local vet. Dr. Olsen prescribed some herbs that helped my sweet olde mahn reach the age of 20! Olsen recently treated Horatio, my 12-year-old kitty that was puking so much I thought I'd have to put him down. Amazingly, Horatio is eating without puking and is finally gaining weight. And the gentle Cabbit, my 20+ year-old cat with a broken back who hops like a rabbit, was at death's door two weeks ago with recurring urinary tract infections and diarrhea. Dr. Olsen's treatments have made him stable, and he seems happy and contented. He is purring beside me after voraciously eating his dinner, and having an almost normal bowel movement (which is amazing for this kitty after so many intestinal problems). I will always be eternally grateful to Dr. Olsen for giving me the extra days and years with my beloved pets.

I went to Dr. Olsen with my two dogs and was basically treated like I didn't take care of my dogs. I was overcharged and am very unhappy with the treatment from the staff. I was there for almost 2 hours for a yearly checkup and a rabies vaccination. Save your money and your time and find another vet.

My little boy, Blue, is at home and back to his old tricks (raiding trash cans and unrolling toilet paper) thanks to the efforts of the veterinarians, technicians and staff of the Greater Atlanta Veterinary Medical Group and Animals First Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Jory Olsen, the specialist, treated my cat, Scooter, for more than six years for diabetes and finally lymphoma. Dr. Jennifer Cadieu took the lead with Blue's poisoning but Dr. Diana Olsen and Dr. Jory all contributed their expertise to his care. Dr. Cadieu and technicians stayed overnight with him checking his temperature and heart rate hourly. I cannot say enough good things about this practice. The staff and technicians are all great and all provided personal support and care to both my pets and to my family through the years.

The staff is rude and Dr. Jory Olsen is insensitive to the needs of the animals. I would not recommend this vet to anyone, unless they want to be ripped off and their pet to be in poor health.

These vets saved my dogs life. She had an ulcerated stomach due to a bad reaction to an arthritis medicine. She had a massive infection from her stomach rupturing and spreading infection all thru her insides. A couple of surgeries and almost a month in the hospital-my dog lives. She is a miracle and Dr. Jory saved my girl who I know would have been dead otherwise. You will not find better vets for internal problems than Greater Atlanta. My mother runs a local dog rescue group and has 30-40 dogs in her care. She takes all of her dogs to Geater Atlanta. Believe me she trusts very few with the well being of those souls she saves but these people have won her trust and loyalty.
