Got us in fast, was very informative, staff was very friendly even with 5 other dogs in at the same time and kept us informed on every move they made. Dr Wenum spent over 10 minutes explaining things even though he was very busy. Went back for a follow up ( another late night) and he didn't charge me a penny. I will recommend without hesitation, you just dont find people like him anymore. Very informative.

One of the nicest vets I have met. The whole staff is excellent.

I have been to the emergency clinic with 3 of my animals and have used all 3 of the vets there. I agree Dr. Wenum is very condescending & tries to talk over your head. When he realized I knew more than a little about my animal's medical care, he slightly changed his attitude. I do want to stress that the 2 female vets there are extremely professional, kind & knowledgeable. I will continue to go to this emergency clinic if needed. If you have a problem with Dr. Wenum, I suggest you demand to speak with one of the female vets ASAP.

Somebody give this man a pin to pop that over inflated head of his! He is one of the worse Veterinarians in the state! How he is still in practice is beyond me! He does not care about animals at all! He is in this profession only to make money off of pet owners. We all need to contact the Boards and have his license removed!

I had a postive experience with Dr. Wenum, even though my dog was very sick. Emergency vet medicine is expensive everywhere - not just at his clinic. You pay more for the convenience of a 24-hour clinic, plus in my 30 years of dog-ownership, I have learned that the good emergency vets do more tests than a regular vet because they are not as familiar with your pet as your regular vet. Dr. Wenum was very professional and, more importantly, he was right on on his diagnosis and treatment. I am very surprised by the other comments of other patients. I would recommend Dr. Wenum to anyone and would go back to him if the need ever came again.

I worked with this person and he does have a God-complex. Way over charges and makes his staff do the dirty work of talking to clients. Very condesending, terrible bedside manner.

Over priced, about as smart as a 2 year old. Brought my Olde English Bulldogge in for an emergency visit because he was howling in pain. They told me it was his leg which I told them it wasn't. they didn't want to hear it, or anything else that I knew about what was going on with the dog. My dog died two days later at 5 years old (breed should live to 10-12) who knows what would have happend if he only had a brain, by the time my vet was back on monday it was to late. This guy should go work fast food its more up his alley. DO NOT take your pet here if you like it at all.

I did not like this vet either! My little boy cat has a history of urinary tract infections. I took him into the eclinic because he was havign the same signs he'd had before. The dr went ahead and sedated my cat before he even came to talk to me! Then he told me he assumed that my cat had a blockage in his urethra. Ended up that he just had a urinary tract infection, which is common for him, and didn't need to be asleep at all. Then I get slapped with a 600 dollar bill! I was outraged, and the dr made some staff person talk to me instead of owning up to the fact he should have talked to me first. I could have told him about my boy's history. There was no need to sedate him because he wasn't plugged, he just didn't want to pee.
