"All charm and an inch deep" as my mother used to say. Schultz is OK if you don't challenge him, but if you do, look out. His professional and personal ethics are highly questionable in my opinion. There are better vets in the area with less flash but more substance. His manner is condescending at times yet his knowledge of animal behavior (especially dogs) is abysmal. Never trust his advice when it comes to training or behavior, get a professional opinion.

I'm saddened to think that this website that was created to help consumers in their decision to pick a reputable veterinarian would deliberately remove unfavorable posts. I guess I won't be using it.

Interesting how the bad things that happen here get deleted. Dogs that died, botched surgeries...all removed. Losing respect for vetratingz if they can be bought! Will tell everyone on social media

I finally had the pleasure of going to this clinic. I have had previous issues getting my female pregnant with no luck at other veterinarians and thought it was time to try Schultz Vet. I was very pleased with the staff and the knowledge that Dr. Schultz had on the issues my female was going through. When all was said and done I got 7 puppies with a frozen**** breeding after missing her multiple times at other clinics! I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Did pyometria spay but used inadequate antibiotics. Dog developed infection which turned into meningitis. Schultz insisted it was viral, and prescribed steroids. Our nationally ranked special died in agony, seizuring because of this.

Absolutely the best. I drive an hour each way for any vet/medical services needed. And many breeders drive even farther. Dr. Schultz is so enthusiastic about what he does and loves to help you! He is a fountain of knowledge! His associates also show a keen interest in you and your animals. The support staff is terrific! They are kind and compassionate and very rarely ruffled or stressed (at least they do not display it to the client). This place is a gem, tucked away in the most gorgeous woodland setting!

Dr. Schultz is an excellent surgeon and reproduction specialist. He's very popular with the dog show community in Michigan, with good reason.

Best veterinarian I've ever been to. I drove from Texas just to have him perform surgery on our 11 year old dog because she had some potential heart issues.I moved from Texas 20 years ago, but went back to him when I really needed the best surgeon for our special little dog that belonged to my 11 year old daughter. Our dog did fine through the surgery and is still going strong at the age of 13.
