We adopted a senior shelter cat & on our first visit the vet here missed nails that had grown into his paws from his previous owners not clipping his nails ("Oh that's not an imbedded nail, just a callous.") She didn't notice that he's missing two back teeth & has advanced gingivitis in the remaining back teeth. Honestly she barely glanced at him & was flippant in response to all our questions. We took him to a new vet who was shocked that the old vet hadn't noticed the teeth problem (as were we because when we could finally see back there with her help you'd have to be blind to miss the gum damage) & then easily extracted the "callous" from his paw, which was, yes, an imbedded nail. Oh & this vet never gave us our rabies paperwork which we didn't know we needed as we are new pet owners in the state. The whole operation was almost laughable. I would never entrust my pet to this vet, she is in la la land and rude to boot.
