I brought my 7 yr old pure breed Rottweiler in because he was limping a little bit I specifically told the vet to X-ray all 4 legs!!! They X-rayed his back legs only I asked why only the back legs and was told he was moving to much and they could not X-ray the rest. I wasn’t told that they could sedate him instead I was given pain killers and sent home ! They put him on antibiotics for a skin tag without examining him . His limp became worse and I sent him to a different vet to get proper X-ray s done it’s been3 months and no improvement and I found out he has bone cancer he’s got two to 4 weeks left he’s in extreme pain . I am livid at with the vet had they listed to me and told me my options my dog would have not suffered so much and I may have gotten more time with him because the cancer would have been detected earlier. I blame this vet hospital for my dogs early demise. They were incompetent and failed my boy miserably.

I have been going there for several years. They almost killed a young racehorse threw a botched up gelding by George Woods. Milton saved his life after re surgery, broken ribs, hematomas in the stomach wall and thousands of dollars in recovery in what should have been a routine procedure. he should stick to cows. David Kirkam can be very arrogant and condescending and seems very immature. The front line staff are gossipy bunch with a few exceptions. I just had my dogs there they removed all of his teeth. he did not stop crying for 24 hours I took him back and dared to question the Fentanyl patch as I know this can cause whining. I experienced extreme rudeness from David Kirkham was told his staff hate me and he suggested I find another vet. Taking his suggestion and running for a new vet. Long story short the patch came off the dog stopped whining and returned to normal in six hours. You are not always right David Kirkham.

Dr. David has been such a godsend to our family. My son and his fiance are going through hell trying to keep their little malshi puppy Ella healthy. At nine weeks old the puppy is not eating or drinking on her own. Dr. David and his staff have been so supportive and offered such valuable advice and care. I have had dogs all my life and never encountered such a devoted and caring vet. He even returned our call at 9 pm on a Saturday evening. We are all invested in getting this puppy healthy and are so grateful to be under the care and direction of Dr. David. Thank you Dr. David. signed Ella's grandma

We have used Caledon for our entire zoo of dogs and cats for the past five years. They are always willing to fit us in if it's an emergency, work with us to find the best way to care for our animals, and clearly love interacting with the animals. We've gotten through some nasty issues with them, and our pets received the best care possible. Our cats and dogs think that Cheltenham is the best, and so do we.

Thank you for the immediate response and advice :) I had a concern regarding our pets and received one on one assistance from this vet service same day. Another feature offered was that they were able to assist me with my new Guinea Pig. My former vet does not care for small animals. My mind was put to ease immediately. I highly recommend Cheltenham Veterinary Centre. Thanks again! :)

With 3 dogs, 2 cats, numerous fosters and having worked with other vets for years, I know a good vet when I meet one. Dr David Kirkham is by far the most patient and caring vet I have ever come across. It's worth the drive to Caledon.

Hands down the best vet clinic around. The comment about Dr "Dave" being arrogant is laughable. He is anything but, clearly those uptight people don't get his humour. He saved my dogs life, quickly diagnosed Addison's and got him on the road to recovery, my dog did not have time on his side. I love each and every vet at this clinic. They are awesome.

Recently switched to Cheltenham, always accommodating they respond and fit my dog in when I have concerns - professional and caring - first visit worried me as my dog was extremely reluctant and did not warm up to Dr. Kirkham, however, but second visit they were fast friends. That is very important to me! She knows she is going to feel better after seeing him!!

I have been going to this Vet for over 10 years and will not go anywhere else...unless Dr. Kirkham left..then we would have to follow. If I have ever had a complaint or concern it has been addressed very promptly and dealt with effeciently. Would hightly recommend this clinic to everyone!!

My friends jason and ashley who have 4 dogs told us about cheltenham and their vet David (who is amazing). The prices are great and competitive with all. David traveled to our home in Milton to help our situation. David not only looked at our dog who had a few issues but he looked at our cat who no vet wanted to go near. My cat gets crazy when others pick him up other than us. David was very calm and took time to get to know him. David was able to give him a full checkup and shots without any outbursts. We have left our current vets just to go to a place that cares about us and our animals.

I have been going to Cheltenham for over 8 years. I'V recomended them to EVERYONE. Dr. Kirkham has been way more than accommodating (staying WAY past closing 2+ hours, coming in on a sunday when the clinic is closed). Cheltenham is always clean and everyone is always friendly. Dr. Kirkham and the staff GENUINELY love the animals they see and their owners. Cheltenham is NOT a Mobile service but Dr. Kirkham made an accomidation for my family once because of issues we where having (that is a real vet).I love how Dr. Kirkham uses humour as much as he can. Dr. Kirkham is both kind and professional. Thanks again Cheltenham

Have taken all our rescued pets there for years. Wouldn't take them anywhere else. Dr. Kirkham and all the other vets are phenomenal there. Even stayed way past closing the night our mastiff passed away just to help deal with our loss. Fantastic place.

I would recommend this veterinary clinic to pet owners seeking excellent care and treatment for their pets. I have a kitten and she is well cared for. The clinic is well staffed, clean and affordable.Good amount of parking space available.

I did not have a good experience with 'dr. Dave' He seemed arrogant & 'over the top' nicey nice like it wasn't real or something. I just went for routine stuff a few times but I didn't care for him. I might still go there but I will likely try a diff vet. The staff were nice enough & the clinic was quite clean but this dr seems like a show off. The lady at the front desk seemed genuine & she was quite friendly, I found parking to be ok & the prices were OK (not the best) but I didn't like that particular Vet. He kept making kind of goofy jokes & it just didn't seem appropriate/professional. Not like knock knock jokes or anything but just like he was trying too hard or something.

I visited several terrible, expensive, clueless vets about my mini rex bunny, and became almost desperate, before I received a very confident recommendation to this clinic, which has extensive knowledge about rabbits. I was happy to finally find Dr. David Kirkham, who is an angel! He had the extensive knowledge I needed about my bunny (the probs were dietary, to my surprise, and no other vet clued into that or probed deep enough to figure it out), he charged me a minimal fee (didn't even charge me for her ultrasound or urine analysis), and he was totally kind, caring, and humorous. He is WONDERFUL! He is the only vet I would trust to treat or do surgery on my bunny, which is saying a lot! This is the BEST VET CLINIC IN BRAMPTON!! :)

This is the only vet clinic that would treat my dog, who needed to be neutered. Dr. Dave is amazing and the staff are very friendly. The fees are completely reasonable, and the facility is always clean and well-maintained. They are very accommodating when we need to get an appointment on short notice. I always have good things to say about this clinic and would recommend it to anybody!

Do not take your dog there unless the procedure is simple, i.e neutering. My dog had a cherry eye, and the doctor said that it was a simple procedure for since he had done many. He lied, he said he would do an envelop procedure, which involves making a small incision and putting a few stitches. As it turns out he did not do it at all, all he did was push the cherry eye in and consequently it came back out in a few days. When we took our dog back to him he attempted to do it again but then adviced us that he is not comfortable with the procedure. He never refunded the money that he took from us. When we took our to a specialist, they had successfully completed the procedure at their first try, and they also said that there are NO evidence of any previous procedures done.

So glad I found this clinic. I have two cats, one that needs ongoing treatment and have found the staff to be very caring and professional. My vet, Dr. Kirkham is amazing. As an added bonus, fees are very reasonable.

I really like Dr. Kevin & they have a new lady vet there (Dr. Emily? Emma?) & she seems great as well. Could have more parking at this clinic but, overall, pretty good.

I Have been going to Cheltenham for almost two years. Dr.David Kirkham is an excellent doctor and I have had nothing but great experience with this clinic, my concerns are always handled with care, especially my Great Dane I always get my answers, when I call at the last minute the fit me in to their hetic schedule, I would highly recommend using the Veterinary Clinic, one of the best I have been at in a long time. Staff is wonderful, friendly, and never to busy to speak to you on a one and one. Thank you to the staff, and special thanks to Laurie and Doctor Kirkham for the services. Gail Bell

We have been using this clinic for several years. There is a small turn over in staff which says a lot for the clinic. The staff knows us and are very accommodating, especially if we have an emergency. We use Dr. Kirkham at this clinic. He is knowledgeable, confident and an excellent surgeon. The clinic does not try to oversell services or products. They treat each specific animal the best they can.

I've had two animals treated at this vet and found them to be very friendly and professional. They took the time to explain the procedures to both myself and my 10 year old daughter. She was anxious about her pet having to be left at the doctors office overnight. They calmed her fears and let her look at the back where her pet was to be kept. All in all I would highly recommend this clinic.

Reception staff are pleasant, helpful, approachable and knowledgable. Some of the previous Vets who were absolutely phenominal have left the location , unfortunately. I can't rate the new staff as I haven't needed their services recently. The office is bright, cheerful and spotlessly imaculate. I sure do miss Colleen Mitchell, Vicki Cane , Nacy. Please come back.
