I recently had to have work done to my horse, so I spent a lot of time in the Clinic. I have never seen a Vet so rude to their staff. Dr. Charlie Brown belittled and berated her staff as if they were children. Her knowledge seemed limited compared to the vets that supported her, more or less charging forward without an educated direction. The facility was clean and the Techs were wonderful. The biggest downfalls were; punctuality, professionalism, and what appeared to be an atmosphere of bullying instead of cooperation. Both Dr. Fay and Dr. Lund have worked on my guy before, and if it were not for them I would not continue with the services of this clinic. The atmosphere created by one doctor sets the stage for hostility that seems to be contagious in some of her staff (office staff).

The staff was very friendly and that is the only good thing I have to say about Dr. Fay and staff. They were an hour and a half late, and didn't bother giving us a phone call to let us know. The quote they quoted for castration ended up being an extra $75 for things we were not made aware would be extra. We were told it was routine, so there should have been no extra charges. They charged for sedative, internal antibiotics and saline solution. They said it was routine. I guess saline solution and sedatives are not included in castration. I called several times, so they are refunding a whole $30. Dr. Fay was very rude and the phone would not listen to what I had to say and said, "should I eat this amount myself"!? You didn't tell us your "routine" operation was going to have all these extra charges, so my answer was "yes". My advice to all of you is to go with a vet who gives you a correct quote and sticks to the price.

Sally Anne was always nice, just sort of abrupt.
