The top veternarian hospitals in New Jersey. Had top doctors that were very knowledgable. Cared for my animals like they were family. Would not go anywhere else for treatment.

If you have an emergency prepare to wait until the can "work you in". Also one of the doctors doesn't explain in detail anything. Seems to me they like to nickel and dime you for any little bit they can, even ordering meds from other online sources is "wrong".

I LOVE this place. As a Mama to 6 dogs, I need a doctor and clinic I can count on. Dr. Z fixed my Yorkie's broken leg without having to go to an orth for pins and screws. The office staff and techs are caring and understanding. Often the wait is long but it's worth it to see the best. I would never leave Dr. Z. I also want to mention that 4 of my dogs are special needs. I do wish there were emergency hours however I have been given an after hours number. I've never had to use it so I can not rate that. Seriously...there is no better vet in the immediate area.

I believe Dr. Zaccheo is a good vet, although he is a bit arrogant. But his staff is truly horrible. I live an hour away, and TWICE I arrived for my (confirmed) appointments but was not seen. Both times they blamed me. First time for "my phone not working" so they couldn't contact me to cancel my appointment (my phone WAS working that morning, and they had managed to confirm my appointment the previous afternoon), and the next time for being 20 minutes late for my appointment (I was barely 10 minutes late), so Zaccheo had started exploratory surgery on a cat and I would have to wait. I waited 45 minutes, then when I asked how much longer they thought it might be, I was rudely told they had no idea. So I left, and will never go back there. The staff seems to have a sadistic and arrogant attitude toward clients. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being treated like dirt.

The vets here are good from my experiences, however their office staff and techs are less then desirable. They seem very incompetent and aren't able to take simple phone messages. I'd not leave my animals here with the type of support staff he has. I have worked as a tech for years in surgical practice as well as private practice and I can assure people the support staff are often more important then the vets themselves. If you can't take a phone message and manage simple items, I can't see how leaving my animal under anesthesia for you to monitor could be safe. I wouldn't trust this place if I weren't standing there for every treatment. Bringing in a crashing dog and calling beforehand to give all vitals and symptoms only to get to the clinic and have the girl who took the message write not feeling well on my chart was my last straw. This place needs to work on hiring competent licensed techs that know their jobs. I am searching for a new vet currently due to his office staff!

Dr. Zaccheo is horrible! He tried to kill my dog, he lies to people. He puts animals to sleep and lets them in the freezer for months, he is just horrible! And he supports puppy mill providers!
