10/24/18	5	5	5	4	Kind, caring Vet and staff. We are on a budget. Professional advice of any kind care is never inexpensive but we did not feel overcharged. Go to a tire store. or a dentist, nothing good is cheap. The pets seem to recognize decent human beings when they meet one. Our cat gives high marks, so do we.

1/21/13	3	3	3	1	I chose this vet clinic because it was close to my house and haven't heard any bad reviews. I am however not impressed. I feel like the vet charges an expensive fee for everything! Here's one example. My dog had blood in her stool so we brought in a sample. They charged us $70. Then we had to go back the next day, why I don't know? Surprise surprise! Another $70 charge? And we were strongly recommended to buy some meds and put her on special dog food for a week. With the meds it was around $100. They told us they would call us either way within a week with what the results were. It's been 10 days and no call. I can't help but feel like they are constantly charging $ for everything. Why did we have to go back the next day and pay another $70??? Not impressed.
8/31/12	5	5	5	5	Been going here for past 4 years. Dr.Budihal is compassionate and very understanding of both my pet's needs and my finances. Very thorough and is always there when I need any suggestions for my pet. Highly recommend !!!
6/11/12	5	5	5	5	I have found the new vet at Westland to be extremely caring and compassionate. It is quite obvious that he and his staff care about animals and not the bottom line as one person had indicated. He has allowed me to bring in my dog every day so for the past week so that he can get proper medication while I am at work and has certainly been very considerate of my financial ability when charging me for this service. I would highly recommend this vet. As well when I previously had to have my cat put down, it was obvious to me that having to put an animal down affected him as well and was quite moved.
4/16/12	5	5	5	5	We just had our first appointment today. Our dog is exceedingly nervous (he's seen a veterinary behaviourist) and the staff and vet were extremely accommodating. Everyone working at the clinic was extremely friendly and came out to meet our dog in an effort to provide a calm environment. The vet was knowledgeable and great with the dog. Everything went off without a hitch (including vaccinations, general exam and weighing). I would recommend this clinic to everyone.
4/12/12	1	4	4	1	It is with great sadness that I have to write a negative review about Westland. The gals were great to deal with and so was Dr. Budihal at first and I thought he cared. I then discovered he was in it for the bottom line. Recommending meds rather than dealing with the problem. Also recommending meds that shouldn't have been administered or with great caution. When I asked for a copy of my pets file I discovered an abscess recorded that I wasn't told about. I knew my pet had been in pain. I kept taking him back and felt like it was a run around prolonging so has to make more money. Finally one tooth was going to be pulled that should have been pulled earlier. I went for a second opinion and realized the red flags I had about Westland were correct and I will not be going back or recommending them to anyone. We have to be that voice for our pets so don't hesitate if you think something is wrong to pursue it. I shared my concerns and had no response back from the vet.
3/10/12	4	5	5	5	The vet here is awesome. He is very thorough and likes working with the owner. His follow ups are excellent as well. Recommend.
12/15/11	4	4	3	2	Since Dr. Turner retired and Dr. McLean left to open her own practice, the clinic is just not the same with the new owner. The new vet seems to be more interested in the bottom line than in his clients/patients. I must say however that the girls who work there are amazing, knowledgeable and will go out of there way to care for the patients.
11/9/09	5	5	5	5	The new veterinarian is really nice, approachable and smart. Dr. Turner really made sure to keep the level of care when he left. The staff are unbelievable! Great care and service. They are like family to us. We've been taking our animals there for over 5 years now and are always impressed.
10/15/09	5	5	5	5	Dr Turner is a fantastic vet - gives you the information you require to make an informed decision and is willing to try a more holistic approach before rushing into surgery. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I've been going there for over 15 yrs.
4/7/09	5	5	5	5	dr turner and dr mclean have been godsends to us and our puppy! the staff is amazing and they always have all the time in the world to answer all of our questions. we are so sad to find out dr turner is retiring :(
