heart ache is what has been caused by these professional??? people. Lung cancer that was diagnosed as allergies. The dog has now been put down but not before she and the family suffered greatly Five years of intradigital cysts, again allergies, infection. Money down the drain as again this was not allergies. They know nothing but allergies and prednisone. Should never be allowed to see a pet ever again

We took our previous dog to the clinic with chronic pancreatitis and allergies. We changed from Delton when our dog first developed pancreatitis and was immediately welcomed and cared for by Dr. P Howlett. He is friendly and interesting as provides explanations and he is willing to listen to, research and try holistic methods. Our current dog hasn't had chronic health issues however he is still treated well for the occasions he comes in. Even Dr. M. Howlett did a great job of neutering him. Many vets are costly but you also need to look at the quality of care being provided.

I have been taking my pets to Dr Howlett for over a decade. I have also tried many other vets as Bellerive is over an hour from my home. However, Dr Howlett and his staff are the best. He is extremely knowlegable and continuously educates himself in many aspects of medicine. He is extremely competent and caring. My friend's cat broke his hip & Dr Howlett recommended Xrays to confirm there were no other injuries but he then told me that there was no point in casting as the outcome would be the same. He definitely could have taken advantage of my ignorance and recommended an expensive treatment but he did not. I had a similar experience when my dog was attacked and suffered a simple pneumothorax. Dr. Howlett did not recommend any unneeded proceedures but he ensured my dog's recovery & comfort were foremost. I recommend him to everyone & I can't imagine ever bringing my pets elsewhere.

I've been taking my dogs to see Dr. Howlett for about 5 years now. He's very compassionate and great with my dogs (he always makes time to pet/cuddle them before starting an exam, which puts them at ease). He loves to chat, so you'll be well educated on the problem before you leave! They are also great for getting you in the same day if it's important. I wish they were open on weekends though, it never fails that I notice something wrong with my dog(s) on a Friday night. Pricing always seems fair and I feel that he has my pets best interests in mind. Truly someone who loves what they do.

I have brought my little dog to Dr. Howlet or over 5 years and he's always been great with him. Staff are friendly and when my pet had surgery, they called me to ask how he was doing and really do care about their patients .

Dr. Howlett is definately a competent vet, however, his "bedside manner" is somewhat lacking. He is very pro vaccine... and this is also something to consider, depending on your beliefs. I used this vet for years, but have found a more welcoming and "interested" Veterinary facility elsewhere.

Great Vet, my dogs like him and he is very kind to them and has vast knowledge. The staff is a little awkward aside from the office manager. The other staff don't make me feel comfortable, they don't communicate well with you. If it wasn't for the office manager and the great vet I would not go there.

All of the staff are amazing with our pets and us. The staff even call us to see how our pets are making out post treatment. When we had to put our older pet down they sent us the most beautiful sympathy card which all of them signed and they included an ink paw print of our beloved pet.The facility is clean and tidy.
