It is upsetting that her comments effect the entire clinic. HRAH is a great place to bring your pets and the staff is second to none! I have known many of the staff for many years and they authentically care for all pets! The groomers are extremely professional and they have never had such a great grooming team as they do now.      8/23/12   1     1     1     1   i came in for dr and groom appt. the groomer was very rude. all i wanted was just a bath and to have the nails trimmed. i was told he needed specific deshedding which would cost more. i said no just a bath. when i picked up i had the deshedding and anal gland expression charge. when i spoke with the groomer i was told it needed to be done that it was best for the dog. i was very upset with how rudely the groomer treated me. i have been going to this clinic for year and everytime i come in there is new employees who seem to not know whats going on. there has to be a problem in this clinic with the overturn of employees constantly. never coming back RID: 36768
Click to report rating    6/3/11   1     4     1     1   I brought my cat in for the second time in 18 months. He gets a minor bladder infection and will randomly urinate outside the box. Upon my recent visit, the doctor admitted to being backed up and was extremely short with me. She was rude and interrupted me several times as if to keep me short in my answers. After a urine analysis, they saw a little bacteria and blood in his urine. She did not want to give antibiotics, she wanted to do xrays!?!? She was very rude and short with me after I said I would like to try to treat with antibiotics to see if he stops urinating out of the box. (Which stopped the problems before). I spend $180 total (which I would feel much better about if they didn't try to pull one over on me to do xrays for a bladder infection!) I will never ever go back there!!!! RID: 25379
Click to report rating    12/5/09   1     4     4     1   Way over priced. The Dr. became angry with me when I questioned him about a procedure for my pet. He was arrogant and defensive. I will never go back. RID: 15630

Click to report rating    10/29/07   5     4     4     3   Both the vets and their staff at Hudson Road are fabulous! I've had a number of vets over the years, and they are by far the most caring and empathetic. I love the fact that when I call to check on one of my "babies" (when they've had an overnight stay) they know exactly which animal I'm talking about by name and can give me a mini update imediately. Knowing that the front desk girls even know my pets, makes me feel that they are being well taken care of in the back. While the prices for procedures may be a little higher than other clinics, the care that comes along with cost is well worth it! RID: 6290
Click to report rating    10/24/07   5     5     4     4   I have gone to this vet for years and I absolutely love them! Dr Westfall is by far the best of the dr's and Dr Clappier would be my second choice. RID: 6228

10/24/07   4     4     4     1   I took my dog here when I lived in Woodbury. He had been limping and had a bump between the paw pads on his foot. They ended up removing it (it was about the size of a pea) and put in a couple of stitches. In order to keep the stitches dry during the winter, they provided a plastic boot thing to put on his foot so he could go outside. At one point, the bandages got wet because snow got in the boot. When I took my dog back to the clinic to get the kind of wrap that would stay on his foot, they charged me $40 to re-wrap his foot. ABSOLUTELY the most over priced vet care I have ever paid. Click to report rating    5/25/07   5     4     5     3   I LOVE the Hudson Road Animal Hospital! They are friendly, helpful and take great care of your pet. Here are some reasons I love them: 1. When my dog had some health issues, the vet not only saw her right away, but took the time to soothe my worries and then called me a week later to check in. The vet, not her staff. 2. When my pup was spayed, the doctor personally called me to let me know she was out of surgery and answered my questions. 3. When it was time to start the tick/flea and heart worm preventatives, the clinic called me to remind me and make sure I knew how to do it. 4. They give your pet its own website so you can log on and check on when the last shots were, upcoming treatments etc. Here's what I don't like: 1. It's a little bit more expensive than other places (but it's worth it!) 2. They push Science Diet as a good food. Yuck! RID: 4136
