Click to report rating    3/31/12   5     5     5     3   I must say that the staff here really do care about my dog and are very knowledgeable and helpful and always address my questions. However I am not overly impressed by the doctor and his attitude toward my more natural approach when it comes to medication and my dogs diet. I really don’t find it necessary to pump my dog full of unnecessary drugs. I like to do my research and know what I’m giving my dog. I do not appreciate the doctor passing judgment on me when I’m only trying to do what’s best for my dog. I get the feeling the doctor just trying to make another sale when I bring my dog in. Wish he could be as caring as his staff. RID: 33274
Click to report rating    7/23/11   5     4     4     1   WATCH THE PRICING!! Dr. Chughtai also does not always tell the truth... Make sure there is two people who go to see him! And take notes while you're there!!! I've been going to see Dr. Chughtai for almost 15 years, even back when he was located on 76th & rawson with my old cat for almost 10 years. I'll admit, even when I'd take my old cat to see Dr. Chughtai for treatment I thought the doctor was short and didn't show much interest. However, I had the worst experience during my last visit which I needed to share with the public. My last visit was for palliative treatment regarding allergies for my cat. He quoted me $350 for blood work, add'l for the sedation and overnight stay. When I came back the next day my bill was well over $600. He gave my cat extra steriod injections, antibiotics, and tried to upcharge for generic medicine for me to take home in the meantime. My cat had already had taken antibiotics and steriods months prior. This treatment was never discussed. Be careful! RID: 26410
