My three dogs recently got sick from something they ate. My wife took her two dogs to her vet for a total of $85 plus some antibiotics. Diamond nailed me for $400 and had me leave my dog overnight for "observation". She didn't need $400 worth of observation. The final straw was the office staff giving me the run-around over a bag of dog food. My wife's vet ran out of the prescription that her cocker was on, so I suggested she have them fax the prescription to Diamond. The office staff at Diamond said that would be fine. When I got there to pick up the food, they told me they needed my wife to fill out paperwork because my name wasn't on the prescription form faxed from the other vet. I explained the jam we were in, but they wouldn't work with me at all, like I was going to give the $90 a bag food to an unauthorized pet or sell it on a street corner. Unfortunately my wife couldn't make it in to sign the papers, so we couldn't get the food. They lost a customer over that one.

I had an awful experience when I took my dog in for after-hours care. They soaked me for a thousand dollars, and when I went to my regular vet, the first thing he did was run a simple test to disprove their (mis)diagnosis and he stopped the (mis)treatment they presribed. I felt they were sloppy and callous, and my impression is their primary goal is to be a money-making grinder. I will never take a live animal to them again.

I took my doberman puppy there to have his cropped ears re-wrapped. The wrapping was done to where the posts (pop cicle sticks) were stuck deep inside his ears without any cotton or protection from damaging his inner ears. I had to remove the wrapping after only 24 hrs. due to bleeding and chaffing from the posts on his inner ear. Was also told that his breed requires an extra parvo shot above the norm for other breeds. My research proves this to be untrue.

My family has used this veterinarian for years and I even got a friend to start using them. They have been nothing, but wonderful and caring. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who wants a caring and understanding staff.

I have had to take four dogs here in the last 10 years and have had a good experience every time. Two dogs were my own that I lost to cancer. One was a friends dog that cut her leg while in my care and the other was my dad's 15 year old chocolate lab who lost the ability to go on while my dad was on a fishing trip. Ugh! While it seems that the desk staff changes frequently those I have spoke with and the vets that have helped me have always come across as compasionate and caring.

I was horrified with the staff, my dog was hit and required a large amount of care, as my dog lay there dying, the vet assistant counted out my change to me OVER my dying dog. She was the most unsympathetic person I have EVER met. If you care for your pet dont bring them there, it will only cause more tears.
