Last November, our one-year-old retriever fell ill; he stopped eating. They did blood work to see if anything came back abnormal. We were told that "everything appeared to be fine." It wasn't until recently, that our dog started displaying signs of lameness & limping -severely at times. Hybla recommended that we see a specialist, since they couldn't give us an answer. When we arrived, the new vet immediately questioned our dog's blood work from NOVEMBER - NOW LATE MAY. The paperwork that Hybla Valley forwarded over showed our retriever tested + for Lyme, Anaplasma and Ehrlichia. WE WERE NEVER CONTACTED ABOUT THIS AND HIS CONDITION. The new vet is the one that informed us about the blood work testing + for tick diseases. It took us almost a week to get ahold of someone. When I finally got ahold of someone, I was told it would be a FEW DAYS before a dr. could talk to me. When the office manager finally called me back, she couldn't tell me anything either.
