Click to report rating    11/5/12   1     3     3     1   I had 2 dogs with serious issues. On one, they did blood tests and ultrasound. The blood test had to be redone by another lab because their instruments weren't sensitive enough. The ultrasound they couldn't read: they are new to doing it, so it had to be redone. I still paid for both! They diagnosed her with a rare kidney disease that meant expensive meds for life. Turns out, she had a UTI. The second, they diagnosed with a fat deposit. I protested. To prove it, they used a syringe and took fluid... not a fat deposit! I wanted it tested, they said inflammatory fluid. As it grew, I demanded another test by outsiders. Same diagnosis but no proof it was sent out. It grew and developed a scratch. They wrapped it,gave antibiotics and did a LUNG xray. When we unwrapped it, his leg EXPLODED! The emergency vet had to surgically remove his. He had an aggressive cancerous tumor. They did unneeded tests and meds, did some they were not qualified to do, and cost us over $5000 and my dogs leg!
