Click to report rating    2/1/17   2     2     2     2   Worse experience ever! Each visit cost us around $400 ( Two visit in two weeks ) and my dog still sick. First week we paid to cut his neils, and during the second visit, two weeks later, they charged us again for clipping the neils. RID: 62519
Click to report rating    12/4/15   5     5     5     5   This clinic is excellent. They provide the most optimal care for your pet. Also, the staff is great, helping you and your pet with your needs at the time. At he time, my cat was going to have to be euthanized and there was no other choice. Everyone was great. Dr. Pusong and staff were fabulous. They're great. A. Max-Martin RID: 59170
Click to report rating    9/23/10   5     3     4     5   Banks is an excellent animal hospital who has staff that truly care about the animals. Some of the accusations regarding catgut and an old man with white hair is false. There are two Veterinarians..Dr Feathersone and Dr Pusong who are both very knowledgeable. The technicians are great and seem to always be the same ones so it is good they don't have a lot of staff turnover. They always have my pets food and seem to carry more in stock then most other clinics. I trust them with my animals 100%!!!! RID: 19886
Click to report rating    9/23/10   5     5     4     5   My experience at this vet was great! Dr. Featherstone is very kind and doesn't try to sell you anything. She recommends what she should and mentions the standard insurance etc, but doesn't try to sell it to you. She focus' on treatment and is honest and was very gentle with my puppy. I recommend Dr. Featherstone to anyone looking for a vet. Also, the secretary was very nice and friendly and cleaned the two accidents my puppy made from excitement. The only unpleasant experience was there was a bit of a wait, but they were busy. I would highly recommend this clinic. RID: 19877
Click to report rating    5/27/10   1     4     5     1   My mothers dog who has been a patient at banks for 11 years suddenly had a problem with his back. When we took him to banks he was tested and then they sent us home without medication. 2 hours later he was shaking in pain and my mother called banks to see what could be done. The old Vet (an old white man have no idea of his name) prescribed Metacam and my mother sent me to pick it up. When I showed up to pick up the metacam (my mother stayed with our sweet dog beacuse he was in so much pain) and pay they would not let me use my mothers credit card (she had been there 2 hours prior and had called them to expidite the issuing of the medication). Our dog was in terrible terrible terrible pain and the fact that I drove down to pick up the metacam with her card with her permission and even when she called to say she sent me with her card they would not issue the medication to me. I had to drive home pick up my mother leave our dog in pain at home alone just to get the medication. Heartless. RID: 18144
Click to report rating    8/20/09   2     2     2     2   Unable to consistently order our dog's food. Seem not to care about new patients. RID: 13925
Click to report rating    8/19/09   4     3     3     3   Happy with staff and treatment, however they are not monitered overnight and only briefly on Sundays. When the clinic is closed the staff is gone. RID: 13914
Click to report rating    2/3/09   5     5     5     5   I take my dog here and we see Dr. Thompson. I found everything fine and found the price very reasonable especially considering I was changing insurance companies and they didn't bill me for the exam only the heartworm test which was really nice of them. My dog was spayed here as well with no problem. I would recommend them to anyone as they seemed to really care. Even went I gave a speech that vet food was not good at all they were still very friendly and we corresponded numerous times through e-mail about titer testing and they answered every question I had!! How many vets would do that : ) RID: 11461
Click to report rating    12/15/08   1     3     2     1   So here I go. We first started taking our animals there in 1994, we had a cat to begin with then a dog. He was a German Sheppard. He was always in trouble so we needed a good vet and we thought we had found one until we got the bill!!! We disputed the bill and all the things we didn't have done to our dog and gave them another chance. The next time we took our dog in the staff was unfriendly and the vet was very un helpful. We also had him stay the night before in the kennel and he ended up jumping there 6ft fence and getting away. When the dog was taken home from there facilities he had to go to the bathroom as soon as we picked him up. And it wasn't any two second dribble, he would pee for anywhere up to three minutes and then take two poo's!! What kind of people don't take animals outside to go to the bathroom? I will never take my animals back to Banks!!! RID: 10912
Click to report rating    9/21/08   5     5     5     5   I own 4 cats, all female and they all got spayed at Banks and none of their sutures were catgut which by the way is a safe suture material to use. They gave the best care and they will always be the vets I choose. The staff are great. RID: 10059
Click to report rating    9/16/08   1     1     1     1   Banks has one of the worst reputations in the veterinary community. They are low cost but they run low cost. They shortcut procedures, use substandard materials (gut suture for closing wounds) and charge you for things they didn't actually do. This from a technician who used to work for them. She quit because she actually enjoys what she does and couldnt stomach it anymore. If you need low cost care... go to Blue Cross. You will wait but rumour has it you will not regret it. I have never actually been in there but I used to walk my dog at Allen Gardens and everyone had excellent things to say about it. RID: 10018
Click to report rating    5/8/08   5     5     5     5   Dr. Featherstone is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She took such good care of my kitty treating her with love and kindness. She cured my cat of his bladderstones and I will always be grateful. I recommend her to all of my friends. RID: 8415
