This place is HORRIBLE. Thanks to this vet and their rude staff (Melissa in particular), my cat had an overdose, we've OVERSPENT a ton. (They don't mention that they charge you for medical records or to get a prescription elsewhere... talk about a monopoly.) They don't respond to calls promptly (or at all) and don't deliver on their promises. I will never, ever go back to this dirty, overpriced clinic with their rude and uninformed staff. Dr. Bates also has a bad habit of talking down to pet owners.

Worst veterinary experience I have ever had. Dr. and staff were very abrasive and outright rude. Was given a breakdown estimate then actual cost was almost three times that. Facilities seemed adequate enough but the experience as a whole was enough to prevent ever bringing my animals back.

Beware of this vet. I took my dog in to see why he was vomiting, and came out with a extraordinary bill that I was not expecting. This vet even charged me for day care because he was a drop off case.

The doctor is personable, but the receptionists are not. I was upset to be charged for a full office visit when I brought my cat in only for a scheduled vaccination. I have been warned by two people that this is Williamsburg's most expensive vet, but I've never been to another vet, so I cannot personally speak to price comparisons. I'm probably going to check out vets in Toano or Norge before returning here. I paid the following costs:
Office visit: $39.
Feline Leukemia Vaccine: $22.
"Medical Waste Disposal": $4.
