Click to report rating    12/9/09   4     4     4     4   Not happy with the fact that in an emergency this clinic only keeps your files for 3 years. My cat needed his medical records but had not had any treatment for 3 years so his records were destroyed and I went to this vet for ten years, not happy! RID: 15692
Click to report rating    9/11/09   1     4     4     4   This practice has gone down hill. I started talking my dog to Dr. Penegor years ago when my mother recommended him. He always explained things and gave me natural options to prevent my dog from having seizures instead of medicating him. Dr. Penegor has slowly retired and now the practice has moved and Dr. Dhillon is the new head vet. I can not stand the receptionist, she is obnoxious and tries to sell you everything and anything and likes to throw in her 2 cents and has no qualifications to. You have to PRY information out of Dr. Dhillon, if you don't ask he won't tell. I feel like you have to do your own research because you wont get any information out of this vet. He was ready to take expensive xrays (which i refused )to check for kidney stones when all my dog had was a simple urinary tract infection that cleared up in a couple days with antibiodics. My second dog tore her ACL and I decided to take her to a new vet. Dont bother going here. RID: 14219
Click to report rating    9/9/09   2     5     5     2   The clinic has upgraded their facilities, but their costs have also gone up. Dr. Penegor was our vet for 20 years. He was incredible! He just recently retired. I really dislike Dr. Dhillon, who bought the practice. I took my dog for a 2nd opinion and was told something different than Dr. Dhillon told me. I don't trust him and I'm currently looking for a new vet! RID: 14166

Click to report rating    6/13/07   1     1     1     1   This clinic was recommended by a family friend when we neded to have our dog spayed. We took her back two times post-surgery due to her incision not healing and were told not to worry...this is normal. We also told that the infection she had was simply a "sinus thing that is going around and has NOTHING to do with her wound". Finally we took her to see another doctor who was shocked by her condition and informed us that the suture that was used at Hales Corners was far too heavy of a grade for internal stitches and is not even being produced anymore. It took over 7 weeks and 3 additional doctor visits for her incision and the infection to finally heal. You may think that the prices are good at Hales Corners Vet, but consider the price of having to find another doctor to repair the damage they cause. If you love your animal, do not take it to this clinic! RID: 4527
