This is the worst clinic you could ever take an animal to. My old cat had an infection and due to old issue that he lived with recommended putting him to sleep. They amount of pressure they put on me and the way the handled it was utterly unprofessional when all my cat needed was a shave and antibiotics. Now they to them I lost my friend of 16 years and have to live with that for the rest of my life.

This is a wonderful modern clinic staffed by caring people. They really treat my 2 dogs & 1 cat like they are special. I feel like my babies receive the best care possible. I love going to this hospital- it is much better that the other clinics I have tried in the area.

I rate this vet office with no stars and the reason I am so harsh is because I have been with them for over 17 years. With in the last year I have received horrible service. I feel like Brighton and Eggert have put a dollar sign on my pet and our visits. My bank, yes I said BANK treats me with more respect and charges less FEES! Run fast from this place in less you don't mind being treated like a dollar sign.

Nice modern hospital, easy to get an appointment, and most of the vets seem to be knowledgeable and friendly

Yes, Brighton-Eggert gets you in fast, but not only are they the MOST expensive vet clinic, they have got to be one of the worst. 4 Different vets have examined my dog at Brighton-Eggert. All but one are completely clueless. My dog had an obvious limp and the vet didn't see it. He refused to let me walk my dog 15 ft to show him his wobbly gait. I've seen had x-rays done which showed hip dysplasia. The staff is polite but I've caught multiple medication errors on their part regarding the correct dosage and amount for my dog. They ask me what I'm feeding my dog and recommend Science Diet consistently. Science Diet is junk & has no nutritional value. They aren't knowledgeable in common breeds. One of the female vets questioned me about my cat's diet stating she's underweight. If she had any knowledge about the breed she would have known my cat is within her normal limit for her breed. They're super close to my house but I'd drive much farther for a knowledgeable vet that I can trust.

No one wanted to tell me it was "time" for my dog. Instead, they said he might get better. I had to take him to the emergency vet on Main & Kensington in Amherst, instead. It was awful. Not one vet ever discussed the option of what was best. Instead they spent time talking about the possible treatment which would not contribute to a good quality of life.

I take my cat and dog there and they are treated great! I love the fact that they can either get you in that day you call or the next day!

All of the drs and staff here are great!!! We first brought our cat post emergency surgery, and they treated him like they had known him for years. Each visit is through; they take the time with you and your pet. They have even ordered special food for my cat when I expressed a preference. The hours are great, they are open six days a week and late (until 8pm) most nights. The best part of the facility is that there are seperate enternces for dogs and cats to reduce the animals stress. Everything about the facility is state of the art and beautifully updated. Even though we moved to the other side of town, we continue to use them, and its always worth the drive.
