I cannot even say how much I loathe this vet. The only thing he cares about is money, at the expense of dying animals, who he subjects to painful procedures to squeeze money out of emotional owners. I've heard him compare putting a dying cat through needless surgery to "getting a transmission replaced" on a car, and not knowing if that is what is going to fix it. Excuse me, but any decent mechanic is going to know whether the car's transmission is bad before they replace it, and this vet should know whether the cat is dying before he knowingly tortures it by putting a cat with cancer of the bowel through oral surgery. The State should shut this one down.

GO SEE DR. ALICE JOHNS. SHE IS THE CAT DOCTOR. Dr. Howell is NOT board certfied and he WILL rip you off on fees. He has always been overpriced. You get much better medicine elswwhere.

They are very expensive and are more concerned about money than helping animals and their owners. Shop around. Try a vet in another state!

I took my cat to Cat Care Clinic to have four claws removed. He is a polydactal cat ( an extra toe on each foot). I was quoted a price for the proceedure and made an appointment, however when I arrived at the clinic I was told the proceedure was not reccommended and that I should keep the nails clipped. Imagine my surprise when I checked out and my bill was $129 for an office visit and a nail clipping.

I am a former employee of the clinic. The owner and main veterinarian, Dr. Howell, may seem knowledgeable, but he rushes through and often misses obvious things. He is very forceful and borderlines abusive towards the cats. He does not properly train his staff and practices many illegal, unethical, and under the table routines. The staff has no prior training, and only knows what they have been taught there, which is the quick easy cheapest way possible. If you want many corners to be cut on the treatment of your cat, and for your cat to suffer physical trauma, while still paying an arm and a leg, then the Cat Care Clinic is right for you!
