5 plus Stars for the care knowledge of the front desk staff and the vets. Two stars for the billing. They have been bought out by one of the big vet conglomerates so their pricing is probably fixed. However, watch your bill because they sneak on all sorts of extras even after being quoted a price. For instance $24 for an assistant to bring in or out your dog. That should be included in the price!! They charge for every little thing. If you are looking for a vet that is calm and gentle then this place is great if money is no object. If you are on a budget this place is not for you.

Doug Magnowski is an amazing diagnostician who has provided my 16 year old Terrier a very high quality of life despite her chronic illness. His focus is on what is best for the animal and I find only does procedures that are reasonable to ensure that an animal is being treated as needed. The support staff are very friendly and very supportive.

We are involved in raising registered dogs and so do a lot of business at this clinic. They are very helpful and very willing to work with us. Our dogs have breed-sprcific health problems and although the vets may not be familiar with all these particular issues they are always willing to do research and go the extra mile for us. They really take our concerns to heart and always show genuine concern for the health of all our animals. They are willing to work with us if we cannot afford emergency procedures and will work out a plan for payment based on each individual case. Their prices are decent and they have even give discounts if we bring in foster animals from other cities/organizations. The great care taken here is not limited to dogs. We have also had excellent care given our cats, horses and other livestock and there is no hesitation should a house-call be needed for large animals that we are unable to bring in to their clinic.

This clinic is very overpriced. Staff are disrespectful to the patient and myself. I have since changed vets.

Phenomenal clinic and service here! The staff here make you and your animals feel like 'part of the family' Dr's go above and beyond for you everytime as do the tech's and front end staff! Would reccomend it every time for anything from your cat/dog to horses and cattle! :)

With over a 100 animals I love and need to have great care from my vet, I can honestly say Doug and his staff are the absolute best in veterinary care. They will do their best and if they need to refer out, they will. They are always available.

Vet was too uncomfortable to examine our large dog. Wouldn't listen to the explanation of the problem, and recommended unfounded tests. Failure to properly examine the dog resulted in permanent damage from a simple problem (resolved at another clinic). Also improperly vaccinated the dog also, into his bad hip. Very expensive, poor service.

I have lived in Williams Lake, BC for 9 yrs. I have been coming to this clinic since I moved here. I love the service all around. I find everyone so friendly. The ladies at the front counter always greet you with a smile. I have a dog and a cat. We deal with Dr. Jenny Thompson and I have seen Dr. David Good as a back up when Jenny is not in. Even though I always have to wait, its worth it in the end. The doctor's take there time and answer any concerns that you have about your babies. I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed with the service. However; the bills can be quite costly, lol... Sincerely, Cindy

Dr.Doug Magnowski is the best vet that we have ever had! I have an 18 year old cat who has special issues with her age and he knows soooo much of what she could have or shouldn't have because of her issues. I have never felt so comfortable with a vet, he is absolutely confident and his bed side manner is amazing :) I have had to wait long times in the waiting are or in the rooms but only due to emergencies so you really don't mind and when he gets in the room he takes his time with you, you never feel rushed knowing he must be behind schedule and also we've been squeezed in before for emergencies so it's understandable when you have to wait sometimes. The staff there are all great too! I would highly recommend this Hospital and would be traumatized if we had to move away from here.

I have found this clinic to be excellent. The staff has always been friendly and courteous. The facilities are absolutely fantastic, I have been to many vet clinics but none with this kind of set-up and cleanliness. Sometimes my appointments have been bumped due to emergency surgeries but that is understandable. You could not find a better price, this clinic makes owning animals affordable. I would recommend this clinic in a heartbeat. The vets really know what they are talking about. Dr. Doug Magnowski is extremely competent, knowledgable and overall seems to enjoy his job. When you go to this clinic, you really feel like everything that can be done for your animal is being done!
