I took my elderly cat to Mercy Animal in Indian Trail for a routine physical. Dr. I waited at least 20 minutes with my elderly cat in the exam room...waiting on Dr. Charles Jones. He came in and asked what was going on .. I told him my elderly cat was acting off and sluggish and had lost some weight. He said he would do routine blood work and exam. He took my elderly cat to the back of his facility to get a weight and came back and said all seemed fine...that my elderly cat had some discomfort in the abdominal area but that wasnt a concern to him. The blood work came back and all was normal per Dr. Jones, I told him my elderly cat was still losing weight. I decided to see a vet my neighbor trusted. This vet examined my elderly cat infront of me and suggested an ultrasound. The ultrasound found a large growth. My cat was sick and died within 2 weeks of the growth being found. Dr. Jones neglect to look further into my elderly cats abdominal pain caused her unnecessary pain an suffering.

I would not recommend this vets office. The MAH owners show no mercy when it comes to their payment. Location is poor due to major traffic routing.

We have taken our dogs to Dr. Charles and Dawn Jones for a few years now. They have helped our "kids" and us through some tough medical times including euthanasia. They are caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Over the years there have been other vets we went to, but Mercy Animal Hospital is the best.

Had our Jack Russell spayed here and have gone for routine stuff for three years now. They are so friendly and the prices were the best in the area.

Mercy Animal Hospital is the best around here. Not sure where the person went when he or she says there prices are too high but I've checked around they are the lowest around this area. I had a Bichon neutered and Mercy was $105 cheaper than Indian Trail. The Dr. and Staff are extremely nice and spend lots of time with you never rushing you out the door. I give Mercy a A+...
