There mistake and callousness killed my 10 year old dog, then the vets doctored the records showing they had done procedures which they did not. My dog was returned to us limp and unresponsive after a teeth cleaning (which they said was the reason he was listless and not eating) we were told he was fine and would come around soon. The next day we had to rush him to the Emergency Clinic in our area where within 10 minutes the diagnosed his problem which had nothing to do with his teeth and could have been fixed if he had no undergone the unneeded teeth cleaning - which had actually put him in shock. He was at AMC for 10 hours and no one noticed, or cared how sick he was. I wish with all my heart I had never brought him there , I would do anything to redo that mistake. This clinic cares more about money then the animals needing there help. Please, if you love your pet take it somewhere else. HORRIBLE - HORRIBLE PLACE

My cat was attacked by a coyote. We took her here for emergency care. They made so many mistakes to mention that I keep trying to get it down to less than 1000 characters and can’t. This is the worst chop shop I have ever known and I have had animals all my life. They almost killed my cat, ignored her needs, didn’t know how to put in an IV with blood going back up the IV; don’t know how to read cardiac tests they charge you for, and claim to know. They gave my cat IV fluids that you should not give to a cat with heart problems, which they said she didn’t have, but later were confirmed by a better vet that she did. Even one of their vets admitted after 8 horrible days that I should take my cat to PECS (an emergency clinic, which they were not)and another staff claimed they said they were 24-hour facility, but they weren’t. Night staff was horrible, and when I wrote a letter addressing all of my concerns, they completely ignored it. They don't care about your pet... only the money!

We have taken our dogs to AMC for 5 years. The veterinarians and support staff are always great. From vaccinations, boarding to surgeries we have been very happy. Our dobermans love the folks who care for them, and I feel very confident they get the best care. We had an emergency situation and one dobie had to stay for several days, the vet always called me twice each day to update me on his condition. I can always call and get happy staff with helpful info! No lack of high tech care and devices here! I love that AMC is 24 hours too. They are always there for us!

My second and last visit!!! this place is about taking your money, and NOT about pet care. On my first visit my cat was having liver failure and turning yellow, obviously an emergency. after waiting for 3 hours I left to go see another vet. My cat could have been saved if treated earlier. My second visit, my other cat was vomiting a lot, They kept him for 2 days, the only info I got after two days and a bill was that his sickness was not life threatening but they didn't know what he had...??, however here are some medicines to cure him from whatever he has. The doctor would not see me, they sent in a very unknowledgeable technician to tell me this. It took an hour and a half just to pick up my cat. NOT A GOOD PLACE!!

I took my dog in because she couldn't walk on an emergency. The staff got me in quickly. the Dr's were nice. The staff went over the medications when I picked her up and the bill was reasonable. I will return again

I've been in there in the past and things took a long time, I went back with my pet again. This time the wait time was less than a half hour. The Dr went over everything. The pharmacy explained all the meds, and I was out of there in 56 minutes. I will return again as it seems things are changing for the better. Thank you Dr.s my pet is much better!

I like that the facility is up on technology but the front office staff are very cold, and indifferent toward you. They aren't very friendly at all. I feel like I'm bothering them just trying to find the right sign in sheet. I'm reluctant to return for veterinary care unless it is an emergency. Leah the groomer is very sweet. Dr. McDonald is also very kind. But the front staff make you feel extremley unwelcome. It's as if the clients are just cattle.

I think the Vets are great! I will not return because of the front end staff. They are rude cold & not so smart. Also as sad as it is I had to have 2 pets put down :( with in a 2wk time ¬ so much as a card.

The front desk staff are a bit chilly, but I have always received top quality care from this clinic. I never worry about the care my pets might get from this establishment. As with any service, it benefits to question procedures and protocol, although not the 'cheapest' hospital, I would not want my pet's care in the hands of a 'discount' doctor. I have had great emergency and after hours service, and they are available for clinic visits evenings and weekends. They have handled my pet insurance paperwork without grumbling, and worked out payment plans when paying an entire bill was inconvenient for me. I recommend this hospital highly.

BEWARE! The place looks like a very posh vet clinic. Very nice & clean. However, the staff people at the front desk have no manners or cutsomer svc. The appts are never on time. The doctors are all about surgery and charging you an arm & a leg. My cat was brought in because of a run in w/dogs. They overly medicated her & said surgery was the only way to go. We had issues w/some retaining water in her stomach & all they wanted to do was a 2nd surgery because they said her bowel wall had broken, which was not something that would have been caused by her injury. My 2nd opinion doctor verified all this & verified her bowels were fine. I will be filing a small claims action on these people for the cost of the 2nd opinion. My cat is doing wonderfully right now. Thanks to not having to go thru a 2nd needless surgery and not being over-medicated. I now question whether she really need the 1st.
