Took my Boston Terrier puppy here in 2008 to have his coccidia treated. The vet was nice, but something went horribly wrong when his medicine was either prescribed or mixed. It was way too potent and gave my dog a severe seizure. I took him to another vet to have his system flushed and he lived. When I contacted Allisonville Animal Hospital to tell them what happened, they had nothing to say. They were more concerned with protecting themselves from a lawsuit than the well being of my pet. That was a very disappointing and infuriating response.

Always wonderful to go there, if there is an emergency during business hours the girls will fit you in or tell you to come in. Just a wonderful place to have and to take your fur babies to.

The staff is great, and so are the dr's, but the groomer stinks!! Over the top and full of himself! Jeeeeezzzz!! Find someplace else for grooming!

These people seemed kind of clueless to me. I had to ask if she was actually a vet and had credentials. Scary. I HIGHLY recommend finding someone else.

All I have to say is do yourself a favor and find another vet NOW. These people are clueless here, it's really amazing how fast they are willing to give up on a pet. Their first option was euthanization over treatment!! They gave up before even trying!!That was 5 years ago and that cat is still with me today, only because I treated her and I asked what the other options were first. if I hadn't said anything and just took him at his word, he would have put her to sleep. Run as fast as you can from these people.

All of the vets here are wonderful very caring and compassionate. They have cared for my 2 cats, one now. And my 10 year old yellow lab.

We came to AAH after a bad experience at another vet and I am glad we did. Our dog's tail is wagging so fast when we drop he off that he makes the whole car shake (and he obnly weighs 12 lbs). The doctors take time to explain everything and we can always get our dog in if there is an emergency. The grooming services are great too.

I have used Dr Marcy Short as my Vet for over a year now. I cant even begin to tell you how WONDERFUL she is!!! What a great,loving, caring manner she has with the pet parent and pet itself. She truly cares for you and your pet, and is a wonderful Dr and surgeon. I cant thank her enough for being so wonderful to me and my pets. If you live in the area and are looking for a new Veteranarian, Dr Short is the one!!The staff is very nice and caring as well, and the groomer Ron Frizado is very experienced and does amazing work.
