D.J.(Deborah) Besch, DVM, charges for services are inconsistent and irregular. Her demeanor is rude, unprofessional and she is sloppy with her practice (including employees). My dog was boarded there in April, 2007, and was supposed to receive a medical examination, rabies vaccination and bordetella injection. The dog, a white Spitz, 9 years old, was abused during a 4 day boarding period, April 24-27, 2007. I picked up the dog Monday, April 28. The dog was soaked in her own urine and appeared to have not been fed. It was however apparent the dog received water. The dog suffers from asthma caused from allergies, and is subject to asthmatic episodes. She was never examined by Dr. Besch, yet she received 2 injections which could have endangered her life. Dr. Besch claims in front of witnesses that she PERSONALLY EXAMINES all NEW patients, dogs or cats, before giving them any injection or oral medication(s). A formal complaint against Dr. Besch with the TX Veterinary Board is being filed.
