My daughter had a pet ferret with a tumor on his penis. The staff and the doctor pushed her into the surgery. The staff went on and on about how great the doctor was. My daughter should have had the little animal put to sleep as he was in a great deal of pain but they made her feel guilty and that the ferret would be fine. She spent all of her college tuition money on the surgery and the ferret was far worse off. If you have ever heard a ferret cry in pain, it is very pitiful. The doctor trimmed the tumor and redirected the penis thru a new opening. Due to swelling and infection the animal could not urinate at all. Just because a doctor knows how to cut and sew a living creature, it does not mean that he knows what is the most compassionate of choices. We had to have the animal put to sleep, which should have been done when we first came in. I will never recommend that money hungry, uncompassionate clinic to anyone.

One of their vets has no business being a small animal care person. She is rude to the owners and does not care about the animals care and discomfort. She insists she knows more and the owner knows nothing. She insisted that even though my dog was peeing down his leg on his bedding, they were not going to allow him to go out and empty his bladder. My dog has a foot long incision on his abdomin and I was very concerned about infection with him being forced to lay in soiled blankets for hours. They insist they have an hourly check on all the animals, but I had been there for as many as 11 hrs and did not witness these checks. There were numerous issues with her that I did not have with anyone else. Price after surgery for just overnight care went from $3800 to $4900, not sure what it is now. Most stall were good except this vet and one tech.
