I had a very bad experience at this hospital. A powerful opiate that I had not authorized was used on my pet. The emergency center where I took my pet for further treatment wrote in the report that she "recovered poorly from the procedure and the anesthesia." Also, beware of the documents that this hospital wants you to sign in order to treat your pet. Finally, go on the state's website and look at all the lawsuits in which they have been involved.

Excellent, caring, professional staff. Dr. Josephs has cared for our animals for 30 years. He is a compassionate and caring doctor. He has been so understanding over the years and has helped us keep our animals healthy and happy. He always explains exactly what the problems are and helps us to understand treatment, giving us lots of options, when finances are tough. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Negligent doesn't begin to describe. I wouldn't bring a cockroach to this vet. Dr. McNamara gave my small dog 3 vaccinations in one day. The doctor warned me that my dog would be lethargic and a little sore. He neglected to mention that I should also watch for a reaction that is fairly typical for dogs on their second round of vaccines. 30 mins after leaving, my dog vomited over and over and swelled up like a balloon. He was itchy and in extreme discomfort. Long story short, these are side effects that you should prepare your patient to watch for. I had to bring my dog back a few hours later because his face was so red and swollen. They gave him steroids and subcutaneous fluids and now I'm waiting and hoping to see some improvement. Any vet worth his salt would have spread out the vaccinations and done a better job of informing a pet owner of potential side effects. Instead, I've had to watch my dog suffer all day from something that could have been avoided. Never again.

was recommended there by in laws and couldn't be happeier. just moved from vermont where everyone there loves their pets like no other. i got the same feel here. i had a woman vet and after she examined my girl, she stayed and informed me on numerous things for 45 minutes, not a lecture but different ways of walking my crazy dog to better food. then week later had her kenneled there and saw them playing and walking her when i came to pick her up. watching this i was very pleased. very satisfied

Used to be a good and friendly place with demonstrated care for my dog. Now, with new ownership, its best to go someplace else.

I found this veterinarian helpful and caring. After seeing four vets he shared helpful info on my cats condition that I had not heard elsewhere

Michael Josephs was responsible for a misdiagnosis, and the early demise of my dog. Shame on him. He read the xrays incorrectly, and missed the problem. Then he refused to take responsibility, and acknowledge that there was a problem. If you decide to trust him, do your homework, and ask around the area...kennels and others...you will find a very negative trail!
