The charges are very expensive and some charges are not that necessary. Took my two cats ,on the same issue didn’t solve and being charged every single time big fees.

when your pet goes into critical condition every hour and minute count towards your pets life. When taken here my cat was left to die "stabilize" literally. After the mal practice this place had done I had several consultations with other vets and provided them the same info that Cambie had. I was told from every other vet that they had all the info needed to act accordingly but chose to "stabilize" the cat rather than save them. With what we spent "stabilizing" the cat, we were told by other vets, that they could have saved him. When questioning the vets from Cambie after this information was given I was told that what the other vets said "COULD" be true... so what does this tell you... if you care for the well being of your animal and don't like to get ripped off for caring for your animal do not go here. If you like to be exploited and still have nothing done to your animal go here or any of its affiliates.
My animal would still be here if it wasn't for this clinic.

On March 18 we had to end our dog Rufus's suffering, and reached the decision to put him to sleep. The staff and Dr. Ubi were very kind and compassionate with us. They treated us and Rufus gently and with understanding of how hard this was for us. Dr. Ubi came to our home and euthanized Rufus without rushing us, giving us time for our goodbye's, did what needed to be done, and took him away. About a week later, we received a card with written notes from all the staff, and in the center, Rufus's paw print. I can't thank them enough for all they have done for us.

Great care, great service and they call in a few days to find out how the patient is doing, not expensive which helps us.

Nice and empathetic doctor. Our dog required knee surgery. When we asked him questions, he showed us the xrays and educated us on the problems so we could make an informed decision.

I have been to other vets before and am so glad that I met Dr.Ubi. The costs for the same procedures are less at Cambie Animal Hospital than the other hospital. Dr.Ubi would not give extra or unnecessary procedures.

The prices are exorbitantly higher compared to the service you get.Please do not take your pets to this clinic if you love them.

Our dog has a chronic illness that took years and several vets to diagnose. When we were told by our vet that we could expect annual vet bills of about $6,000 a year, we knew we could not afford to keep him and considered letting him go. We decided to try Cambie Animal Hospital and found Dr. Ubi.
It is not always easy for doctors to diagnose people’s illnesses, let alone vets whose clients cannot speak for themselves. Tests and diagnostics are a tool that help provide that information. It is these tests that make vet bills high.
Our dog is excited to see Dr. Ubi. That speaks volumes to us. Dr. Ubi has helped us keep our dog pain free for over 5 years. He has provided reliable and consistent care. He has also made himself available in emergencies after hours. We trust his judgement implicitly and follow his advice as best as we can. When it comes time for us to part with our pet, we will know we provided him the best care possible.

I have lived in Vancouver for almost 12 years and I have finally found an amazing vet clinic. Not only is Dr Ubi knowledgeable and personable, his staff truly go above and beyond. Whenever I have taken my dogs to see him, I always receive a follow-up phone call to see how my pets are doing!!! I have been to some very scary clinics out there... so trust me, you will not be disappointed here!!! Thank you to Dr Ubi and all of his staff for their incredible work ethics!

Dr. Ubi is the best vet I have ever had the pleasure to work with. When I had a cat that had been suffering for years with Kidney disease, he helped me keep her alive for much longer than anyone thought she could live. He warned me that when the end came, it would be very obvious, and it was. He made a house call so that he could put her to sleep in my arms. --- He attends the top veterinary conferences in North America, and tells me the latest info in issues that concern me (a hobbyist breeder of cats). He has literally saved a failing kitten, and when I am expecting to have a litter, I can call him 24/7 if I run into problems. Recently my queen had to have a c-section. He and his staff worked harmoniously together, and the 3 vet techs literally breathed life into the 3 kittens that were born. Without them the entire litter would have been lost. When it was all over, he bought us pizza and pop so we could see the end of the hockey game. Absolutely TOP RATE.

I live downtown and made the mistake of taking my cat to the Urban Animal Hospital just because it was nearby. I won't make that mistake again. Dr. Ubi gets good ratings for a reason: he cares about animals and he isn't out to rob you.

Took my previous dog here, dr. ubi injected steroids into him- which was not necessary ( I got a 2nd opinion). Took my 2 puppies here for a checkup, the Dr. on duty ( not Ubi) told me that everything was okay even though we told him that one of them kept on vomitting, and he could not tell whether the puppies' dewclaw was removed or not- he asked me, "Why is there a whole here?". Also, I told them to order a bag of medi-cal puppy food, and it arrived 8 months later. During this time, I had already switched their diets to raw and I had already changed vets. Also, the front counter staff are very fake and annoying especially the hippie white girl

I drive an hour and a half to have Dr.Ubi check my ferret.He is very polite and is so good with my ferret that I highly recommend him. His price is also a lot lower than what I would pay in my hometown, well worth the drive and the staff are always so friendly and so good with my little Boo.

Dr Ubi and staff are amazing, I would not take my animals anywhere else (and I have worked in clinics) They routinely go above and beyond to provide care for both your animal and your self. I had to have 3 animals euthanized due to age and medical conditions and this process was made bearable due to their loving care for both of us during the process. Dr Ubi does this work because he LOVES animals!

Dr Ubi and the assistants are the kindest people to both humans and animals. They take the time to listen and are willing to work with you for natural cures. Dr Ubi is an excellent diagnostician. They have the respect of many in the neigbourhood.

Dr. Ubi came recommended as a ferret vet, and we couldn't be happier with him. He is clearly familiar with the unique needs of ferrets, and communicates well with their owners. When we had to have our older boy put down, he was so gentle. Both he and his staff were sensitive, friendly and kind. They aren't cheap, but I wouldn't take our fuzzbutts anywhere else.

Horrible vet I think, close friend of mine went there with their dog for a routine surgery and did all the test prior to the surgery to see if he was healthy enough to take the anesthetic. He ended up dying during surgery, gave no explaination and was not recommended to do an autopsy to explore the cause of death. just seemed like they didn't want to explain the cause of death.

Dr Ubi is the greatest. I take my dogs and ferrets to see him on a regular basis. His staff is the most cheerful bunch I have ever had to deal with.

Dr. Ubi is the BEST; people are constantly switching over to him because of that! The vet assistants are amazing and genuinely care for your pets. They have very strict standards about sanitizing and sterilizing surgical equipment and table tops. I wouldn't take my dog to any other clinic! He deserves the best :)
