Tried Terry on the advice of a friend. My cat needed an exam and turns out a teeth cleaning. I liked that they were an accredited hospital very close to my home (my cat hates the car ride), so I went with them even though their prices were exorbitant. I liked the receptionists and Dr. Blose but when I went to pick my baby up, I didn't get to see her even though she was supervising the treatment and supposedly did the extractions. Instead, a tech did the hand off. She carried my cat in his carrier over her shoulder like a duffel bag, so that my cat was all tilted in there over to one side. She was incredibly rough with him and uncaring. When showing me how to administer his medication, she even held his face really hard and yelled at him in a very mean, nasty tone: "Be Quiet!" He was terrified and looked so scared- it was heartbreaking.. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. I admonished her to not talk to him like that. Terry AH was recommended to me by a friend who has gone through 4 rounds of cancer treatment (successfully) with her dog. We have been extremely pleased with the level of compassionate care we receive for our dog at TAH. We have seen a number of vets within the practice (Dr. R. Mattson, Dr. J. Mattson, Dr. Cook, and a couple of others who have since left), and have found everyone to be genuinely interested in our dog's experience there. Dr. Cook (our current "main" vet) has also taken the time to consult with me over the phone prior to a visit in order to discuss ways to diminish my dog's fear of the vet's office in general. This hospital has been around a long time (50 years?), and they have a great local reputation to uphold -- and they do. Located on Lake Ave., between the Edens (94) and Green Bay Rd.
