Went there for many years, but recently they've really slipped. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Dr. Wolchinsky used to be a caring vet, but I no longer trust him with the care of my dog. Stay away.

Dr. Morris is GOLD! As a breeder/trainer/groomer.... I KNOW what good healthcare is after 40 years in dogs and race horses. Dr. Morris will do whatever is necessary for her patients and their owners. She never sells you stuff just to add up the bill. She more likely will tell you what to buy at the drugstore and prefers holistic over heavy medicine until it is really needed. She has done c-sections for me in an emergency which are never convenient, as well as spays, neuters of my own dogs, client dogs and rescues. She is ALWAYS fair and if she quit practicing veterinary medicine I would quit my work in dogs as well. I drive 2 hours to her because she is heads and tails above the rest. THe new facility is fabulous. Dr. W. works very hard at doing things right. He is the owner. Sallie is a partner and has been there 25 years. Many breeders go to Sallie as it is one of her specialties. She also crops ears, practices holistic medicine (IF requested) and is a doggy chiropractor.

They are building a new facility. When complete, I would expect service to rate even higher.

My family and I have been dealing with Rocky Gorge for almost 25 years now! We have always dealt with Dr. Wolchinsky, and he has been so good to us! He has treated our dog Franky for his whole life, and treated my hamsters and birds as well. I had a crisis with a Cockatiel on Christmas Eve, and i called almost 30 different vets around the areas and emergency clinics, and he was the only vet who ever called me back, and saw me that night! His house is right next to the Hospital, and on the voicemail he has his home phone number. I couldn't think about going anywhere else!
