I loved dr camacho,,he basically saved my cat,,,the issue I have is don't get a.attitude when I say that correct information was not given,,,I realize that he "bent over backwards"all I ask is you tell me the correct thing,,,my bank account could have been messed up bad because of this,,and I get attitude for mentioning it,,,not cool at all!!Dont try to make someone feel.like they were in the wrong for asking

I boarded my dog here for 4 days, and when we got her back she was so sick that she almost died. When we got her home, she was lethargic. After several hours she had horrible diarrhea, and such weakness in rear legs that she couldn't stand. We took her to the emergency vet, where she was diagnosed with dehydration and pancreatitis. The emergency vet opined that her advanced symptoms indicated she had probably been in this condition longer than 24 hours, and that had she been given proper care at the boarder that her condition would have been noticed. When I took all of the tests and paperwork from the emergency vet to Dr. Kicklighter at this facility, he refused to take any responsibility. He even went so far as to say that I clearly wasn't capable of caring for my pet, since I had been unable to afford the estimated $1,000 to hospitalize her. The gall of this charlatan to insinuate that I don't love my dog because I don't have an extra $1,000 laying around is beyond comprehension.

I had to use this vet for the past three years in Yellowknife and have found that they lack professionalism. I have had to take my pets down south on a number of occasions. Research and ask questions about your pets problems. If there is resistance from the vet than there is a problem.

Don't believe the bad reviews! I have used the 204 animal hospital for years, and could not be more satisfied with Dr. Kicklighter and his other attending veterinarians. So what if Dr. Kicklighter cuts you off...what he has to say is important! He's A DOCTOR! My animals have always recieved top notch care from the vet techs, receptionists, and doctors. I would never dream of going anywhere else. Don't let one bad apple spoil your whole bunch. If you are looking for great service, friendly customer service and years of loyal veterinary care - 204 Animal Hospital is a no-brainer. And the price? Best in town. Do your research, folks, you won't find lower prices anywhere.

Dr. Kicklighter was very rude he cuts you off while you are talking to him. I felt as if he really didnt care. He really made me feel uncomfortable, and the prices were really high its like they just keep going up and up. How are you to afford to keep your pet up to date and if you dont they think your a bad pet owner.

I went late last year in 07' and the visit was good. But I just went recently and Dr. Kicklighter could not have been more condescending and uncaring if he tried. Our pets are more than animals, they are family and when bad news is given it should be in a better way, and services and done and you are not told you will be charged for them. The receptionist was so rude I think she was trying to win a rude contest. I understand I was a walk-in (although I have been seen there before), but there are certain ways of treating people. Customer service was not a forte.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE DR. CAMACHO AT 204 ANIMAL HOSPITAL. HE IS EXCELLENT, WONDERFUL PERSONALITY AND VERY CARING. THE STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL AND SEEMS TO REMEMBER EVERY PATIENT. THE OTHER 2 DOCTORS THERE ARE GREAT AS WELL BUT TO ME THEY JUST DON'T HOLD A CANDLE TO DR. CAMACHO.
