My mother's healthy dog is on her death bed after Dr Taylor performed emergency surgery which he probably wasn't qualified to do. He should have referred them to a specialist. He released her from his care without her eating or drinking and gave her a deadly combination of medication that has shut down her kidneys and now pancreas. I thought he was a great vet until now. So be careful when choosing a vet. Anyone can give shots, but can you trust your veterinarian to give you the best advice during an emergency? BTW, the vet bills are well over $6000 and the dog is still in ICU at another hospital.

We started seeing Dr. Taylor about 10 years ago and find him to be everything you could want in a "family doctor". he doesn't just care for our pets, he is there for our 2 footed family also. I wouldn't trust my dog or cats to anybody else. His staff is always a pleasure to work with and never seem to be waiting to walk out the door at the end of the day. When there is an emergency or when I've just had a sick pet that needed care, Dr. Taylor has met me at the office after hours when I felt that it couldn't wait until the next day. Thank God he opened up his clinic in McKinney.
