After moving into the area my dog began to dig at her ear. When I took her in for her scheduled appointment the vet kept us waiting for over 15 minutes! When we finally got to see the vet he quickly handed me some ear wash and rushed me out the door. He didn't even check her ear! To top it off my 3 minutes of time with the vet cost me about $300. I went to a different vet clinic and it was a good thing I did, she had an ear infection and needed antibiotics.

Many horse owners in the area avoid this place like the plague. I have seen absolute disasters and a lot of suffering because of their ineptitude when I had my boarding barn and some of the clients used them. They have an ultrasound machine but did not use it because no one there knows how. They did not know that their small hand held xray machine would not penetrate a horse's body! I called the main vet there in an emergency situation when our vet and my other choices were all out of town for a horrific injury where there was no question that the animal needed to be euthanized and the vet was at home in St. Helens and was too lazy to come out and stop the animal's suffering. This is their large animal practice, maybe they are better with dogs?

Midway Vet Hosp is such a great place to bring your pets. The staff is always curteous, compassionate and easy going. The vets are fantastic, easy to talk with and always listen to what my concerns are. The prices are extremely reasonable and I have always gotten great service!
