The review should ask about the quality of service received. Although an intelligent man, and a vet that is fine for pet owners, I cannot recommend this clinic to people interested and compete in dog sports. I did not appreciate him quoting a metastudy that has been disproved and when I told him that I knew this study was disproved he became defensive and treated me as though I couldn't possibly have any knowledge about dogs and dog care. He also kept pushing for Lepto vaccine, but when questioned about which lepto the vaccine covers, he would not respond. There are many types of lepto, some of the vaccines do not cover the types in Ontario. I got the impression the visit was more about upselling me products than a genuine interest in us building a working relationship together. If you're interested in areas such as chiro or alternate treatments, you will not get that info and support from this vet. He is old school where clients are always wrong and should not question him.

Insisted my cat needed $1500. operation; 2nd opinion proved cat only needed pills. OSPA needed to get my cat out of there. Worst vet ever - choose $$ over my cat's health!

The clinic always tries to give you a sales pitch if you have a puppy to sign up for their puppy training class. Do not give in. They provide a "free session" for new puppies, which is just a sales pitch once again, and was poorly executed. One of the DVMs showed up and threw roughly half of our dog's daily intake of cheap, low-grade kibbles at her while explaining that the trainer can not be in because she was working on a cat (sure, whatever). We never got to see the trainer, and they did not reschedule us to see the trainer at a later time or even let us see her credentials. I wondered if the "trainer" was actually in the office at the time. If the trainer is not going to show up, and they are not going to reschedule, why should I put time and money into a shady training course series. In addition, the vet nurses do not know how to handle puppies very well. If you get a puppy, do not take her to the Animal Hospital of Willoughby Hills! Very bad service and overpriced.

I was appalled at the attitude of staff and Vets toward customers and animals. Pricing is outrageous for what they do, the Vets are not knowledgeable at all about breed-specific care, and there is no quality customer service. We quickly switched Vets for both a puppy and a cat, after finding one who truely knows care and animals, and prices fairly. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who values their pet and wants quality care for them.

I am always amazed by how professional the staff is every time I visit. I have been a client for over 10 years and was afraid once they built their new building prices and service would suffer. Boy was I wrong, they are better than any other human or pet doctor I have ever seen. Clean and beautiful facility too!

The staff here are very non passionate when it comes to your pet. I felt like my Lab was just a dollar sign to them. She was brought in for a slipped disc in her back. I left her in their hands and was told that they would take good care of her and they would call me at work to let me know how she was doing on treatments. I returned to she how she was doing and she was left to lie there in pain until I tracked down a staff member that took her time in getting anyone to help. I was wondering how many hours she was left there to suffer in pain. I carried her out and took her to another vet that truly took care of her.

i love the staff and doctors here.I have been taking my dogs here for a year now.My older dog developed a heart condition and they have a specialist who has kept my pet healthy and happy!
