I have no problem with the vet, however, the vet tech that took my cat's temp and heart rate seemed to take an instant dislike to me. The air seemed thick with hatred and contempt from that woman and I think my cat sensed it which added to her fear. She hadn't lifted herself up in a little over a day, yet she lifted her head and shoulders off the table and screamed! I have never heard such a desperate, terrified cry from her before. I tried to soothe her, petting her and telling her, "It's okay, sweetie, you don't have to be afraid." The vet tech then SNAPPED at me and said, "She's NOT scared! She's JUST sick!" I was shocked at the vehemence from that woman. When I went back to pick up my pet's body (she didn't make it), she opened the bag they had placed her in, held her hand above the bag, looked at me, got a slight smile on her face, reached down and petted my dead animal as if she was gloating! I felt that was the utmost cruelty and won't go back because of her!
