They accept no responsibility, DR RICHARD BENJAMIN YOU KILLED MY BELOVED CAT. RID: 69621

Click to report rating    4/8/19   1     1     1     1   Horrible place our dog came home worst then when we brought her in. They were constantly adding things to our bill without telling us, different diagnoses by different vets. This place should be shut down for animal cruelty. RID: 67883
Click to report rating    1/4/19   5     5     5     5   I love that they are always open. Last time I went the female vet with glasses was so friendly and helpful. I could tell the staff cares so much. I trust them with my fur babies. RID: 67185
Click to report rating    2/19/18   5     5     5     5   Been a client for a few years but just wanted to say saw a very friendly young female vet who was very patient and I could tell she really cared. This clinic is great overall! RID: 65611
Click to report rating    3/26/17   2     1     1     1   North town vets misdiagnosed my dog. They gave him the wrong medication for a problem he didn't have. They hospitalized him are where give him the wrong meds. We took Oreo to Toronto animal hospital. Dr.Smith tried to reverse the damage that was done by Northtown but it was to late.Oreo passed away after fighting for 2 months. I talked to other vets in Brampton and they had nothing but bad things to say about north town. The one that sticks out the most is that they're all out of college and that there only there for the experience and then they move on. That was told to me by more then one vet. So in closing if you love your pet and want them to live, don't take them to north town. I regret taking my buddy there. I look at where his bed was and there is no Oreo. Don't do my mistake and put your trust in northtown. All that's there is nothing but Death, do to the lack of experience. RID: 63154

9/15/15   5     5     4     5   North Town Veterinary Hospital has professional, courteous and highly empathetic staff. As a caregiver of a colony of feral cats, North Town has been instrumental in assisting with the care and decisions around these feral cats. Their expertise and advice has been most helpful. They actively respond to the needs of each animal as they arrive and are always prepared to provide critical care. I would recommend North Town to anyone who needs help with their pet or a feral.  4/13/15   5     5     5     5   I have been fortunate to have dogs all my life so ive made more than a few trips to the vet. On a Saturday afternoon my dog had an allergic reaction of some sort. we think it was a bee sting, but cant be sure. Our regular vet is 30 minutes away and I could tell my dog was in serious trouble, so we scrambled to reach a local (Etobicoke) vet. I didn't think I would be an issue on a Saturday afternoon but it seemed impossible, nobody was open or they didn't have the time to see us regardless how serious the situation was. finally we were directed here. I must say they turned a horrible event into a positive experience. as soon as we walked in the receptionist went into action. a tech took over shortly after then we saw the vet. They treated my fur baby like a their own. The vet was amazing; I didn't feel like she was pushing unnecessary tests or anything; all that mattered was making sure my dog could breathe. I cannot express my gratitude enough. RID: 56621

2/20/15   4     5     4     4   This is a great place to take your pets for veterinary care! The clinic is clean, the staff are courteous and one member of the staff even runs a charity through the clinic called "Four Paws one Heart" which helps to find homes for lost/abandoned animals. RID: 55958

9/18/14   5     5     5     5   North Town is a fantastic 24/7 clinic filled with enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. Personally, I've found the prices to be quite good in comparison to other clinics (especially for an emergency clinic). Sometimes you have to wait for awhile before your appointment because of emergency visits but nothing completely unreasonable. My dog received surgery at this vet clinic and I particularly appreciated the amount of general concern for her well-being before, during and after the surgery, the care given to her while at the clinic, and follow up that she received.  6/10/14   5     5     5     5   North Town staff are compassionate, genuine animal lovers. Their clinic is clean and well laid out. They took my rescue dog in immediately and offered round-the-clock care and attention during her recovery. I was charged fairly, treated well, explained in detail about every test and procedure and would highly recommend them! RID: 52042

5/24/14   1     1     1     1   Took my dog here after an encounter with a porcupine. Male vet after 15 second exam informed us the estimate would be $700-$900 for the treatment, we do not have that type of money. so we said no to the treatment. upon leaving they charged us $90 for a 15 second exam?? Took our dog to our regular vet the next morning and they charged us a quarter of what this vet quoted. I know its an emergency clinic but to gauge people like that with a sick or injured pet is in my opinion SICK!! Will never be back to this clinic ever again. RID: 51743

3/16/14   5     5     5     5   I have only positive good things to say about North Town :) Dr. Forbes is a wonderful Vet, he always takes his time, answers all my questions and treats Carly with love and caring hands. When Carly had her dental and spading done by Dr. Forbes, he constantly kept me updated on how she was doing. I feel that Dr. Forbes, the techs and the ladies at the front reception desks, never rush me, are very knowledgeable, always smiling and compassionate. I highly recommend North Town Veterinary Hospital. :) RID: 50528

3/14/14   5     5     5     5   This clinic is amazing! The staff are personable, courteous, prompt, and are the most supportive people! They know when to come on over and give you a hug and are excited to see our dog Abby when she comes! You should be proud of your team! I would highly recommend this clinic to my friends and family after the care we had there for our beloved pet. Appointments were always convenient as it is 24 hours and we saw a few vets while we were in their care but it was nice to get several opinions on our dog's care. If you need 1 vet, just ask for them when you make your appt. "We can't thank the North Town team and our families enough for the expertise, support, and compassion they showed us during this difficult time. Words can't express how much we love Abby as she truly has become an important member of our family. We have truly cherished all the great times we have shared with Abby over the almost 16 years she's been a part of our family as our 'fur-baby.'" RID: 50496

1/13/14   5     5     5     5   Our story isn't a happy ending story but, had it not been for North Town, our pet undoubtedly would have died sooner. Our little Yorkie, Lily, was diagnosed with a collapsed trachea. Additional imaging at the OVC in Guelph a month later confirmed her case as severe and life threatening. The first night we brought Lily in to North Town she couldn't breathe. She was truly in distress. We called ahead to let them know we were on our way as we live a half hour highway drive away. The moment we walked through the door someone scooped her out of my arms and disappeared down the stairs to the emergency room. Lily spent several nights at a time, multiple times, incubated for oxygen and was always treated with exceptionally high quality care by the staff and Dr.s Musters, Saini, Sherkey, Forbes just to name a few. I'm sure Lily was treated by every Doctor on site at one time or another and no one was better than another. They were all truly outstanding, extremely compassionate and accomm RID: 49219

1/4/14   5     5     5     4   My cat required surgery for a deep wound. She had been a stray for six weeks and was emaciated when admitted. I was extremely pleased with the service and care of this facility. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful as were the technical staff Dr. Musters, who performed the surgery, was outstanding in explaining the options and costs associated, as well as her overall professionalism. She did follow-up post op calls to keep us informed of the progress. I would highly recommend the hospital. RID: 49086

12/3/13   5     5     5     3   My mastiff had cherry eye a year ago and I took her to North Town. The surgery is expensive everywhere and the chances of it coming back are very high. The surgery went very well and her cherry eye has not returned since. I must say I was very happy with the results and I urge anyone looking to get this surgery to consider North Town. The staff is very nice and I really like how clean and professional it is. Pricing may be a bit over average on some items/medications. However being open 24 hrs is a huge plus for any pet worrier who can't wait like myself. All in all it is a great vet and I would recommend to all. RID: 48577

10/28/13   1     1     1     1   PLEASE read as many reviews as you can to get a 'feel' for the clinic you choose! We chose North Gate at 9pm as a last resort to our persian cat having a full urinary blockage.I chose it because the consultation was a bit cheaper than the Emergency Vet Clinic on Wexford. BIG MISTAKE. They took our cat in his crate without asking, walked him downstairs into a basement, and asked us to fill out paperwork(basically signing that you will pay for even looking at your pet).My husband and I were very unsure about this. They said we would need to wait to see the doctor after he inspects our cat?!No meet and greet,no questions about the imperative details that we wanted to share,and...where was our cat!?We insisted we wanted to be in the room with our cat while the dr. looked at him.We met Dr.Saini, did not appreciate his uninformative approach.we had to prodd for info, then he randomly quoted $2000!We took our cat, paid $89,refused that man to touch our pet.this place is dark, staff lifeless.  10/5/13   5     5     5     5   I can't say enough good things about North Town! The staff, vets, techs and reception are wonderful. The compassion that was shown when it was time to say goodbye to our cats was very heartfelt. We have since adopted 2 kittens and this clinic will be our source of care again. The price may seem a bit high but look at the fact that it is open 24/7! I love this about the place! The pets are not left in the dark, waiting for someone to open in the morning...what if something were to happen during that time! The vets explain things very well and encourage questions. Please, if you want to do right by your "furkid"...go to North Town Veterinary Hospital! RID: 47425

6/18/13   5     5     5     5   The first time was for our recently adopted street cat who fell very ill. They were very understanding and didn't push anything unnecessary that would increase costs. The second time we found ourselves at North Towns door step, my Chihuahua had been severely bitten by another dog and went into a grand mal seizure. Now, Prada is prone to seizures and has been treated for them in the past, but she has never had one so severe and frightening. We immediately rushed over, and they were very kind and rushed her to be seen by a vet immediately, even though there was a line. They were very gentle with her, clipped the hair around the punctures and flushed them out. She has made a full recovery - not even a scar! They wanted to do a seizure watch, which I would highly recommend for anyone not experienced or familiar with dealing with them, but I opted to watch her myself at home. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend them. RID: 43186

2/6/13   4     5     5     2   I have been dealing with North Town Vet for over a decade with my three dogs. They have provided great care and have been very compassionate in dealing with tough situations with my dogs. It is always easy to get an appointment, although seeing a different doctor every time you bring your pet in can be a bit unsettling. If you find one of the veterinarians you like, request them if possible every time you bring your pet in. They are on the expensive side, but the care they've given my pets has always been excellent.  1/22/13   5     4     4     4   I have used North Town for emergencies (as I live too far away to utilize it as my primary veterinary office) and the service that we have received is wonderful. All of the staff went above and beyond what I would consider the norm and took very good care of my pets. It is so convenient as they are open 24 hours a day and we all know that our pets can get into trouble outside of normal "vet" hours and it is comforting to know that there is somewhere to go that our pets are so well taken care of. Thank you. RID: 39829

1/16/13   5     5     5     5   I love this Clinic! My Kitty had intestinal/constipation issues which i was extremely concerned about since she already had a sub-total colectomy 7 years ago. Kitty at age 15 has seen her share of pain and i was so concerned about her health and if the worst had come. I was referred to North Town Veterinary Clinic and i was beyond 100% grateful for the treatment she received. Not only did the staff treat my Kitty with care they also made me feel comforted and re assured that she was in great hands. She stayed at the clinic for 3 days and was released on my birthday early january! The best gift I could ever receive. They helped my Kitty when she was struggling and in pain. They gave me great advice and recommendations on her future care. I have never experienced such kindness and concern before from other clinics. They even call numerous times to check up on her :)Way beyond my expectations. The doctors and staff all great. I recommend this clinic. They have earned a client for life! RID: 39678

9/2/12   1     3     1     1   I took my dog in due to severe breathing issues. The night shift doctor was more interested in having paperwork filled out than looking at her, and once the paperwork was filled out, he treated the visit as a standard checkup. Then informed me that he would leave her on oxygen, and pass it off to the day shift doctor (which was to be an hour later). 3 hours after that, I got the call that she hadn't made it. $1600 for what may have been death by negligence.  6/26/12   5     5     5     5   My name is Maria and I am Law Enforcement officer who rescued a dog and relied heavily on the services of Dr. Jon Forbes team ( Dr. Todd, Rebecca-technician, Gloria and Kim - Reception). The services provided and continue to be provided are nothing less than OUTSTANDING, PROFESSIONAL AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, COMPASSIONATE. I have experienced many front line medical staff, and without a doubt, this team of excellent veterinary staff are the most impressive. I moved residence 6 months ago and continue to travel 1 hour for maintenance care of my beautiful rescue dog, Hope. Thank you team, I am forever grateful and remain humble of your expertise.  6/22/12   5     5     5     5   I got a new puppy & this is my new vet. I love them! Everyone was really friendly & gave me great information. The front desk girls even printed off some info for me about specific puppy issues I asked about. Dr. Rennick is my new vet & she's really calm & well informed. She explains things very well too (so I can understand)! Maybe the only thing I would change is the parking & location but, not much they can do about that given the limited land I guess. I find everyone there to be really helpful. The ratings on here don't scare me at all people just like to complain. RID: 35154

3/26/12   5     5     5     5   I don't get the bad ratings on here! I've been coming to this vet for 2 yrs. now & they're great! I would certainly have more parking & not always have to wait for the front desk girls to get off the phone (they are constantly having to interrupt you to get the phone) but I think that just shows how good this place is (that they're always so very busy)! I have a dog & 2 cats & this clinic has always been great with them & me. I love Dr. Meralli (sp?) & Dr. Paquette who is sadly on mat leave now but, every Dr. I've seen there has been great! I was nervous about having to see a new vet when Dr. P went on mat leave but Dr. Muralli has been amazing! So kind & caring. So I give this clinic a thumbs up. I don't know what the people below are talking about but I sure bet there was a reason for them talking about calling the SPCA! That's serious-vets don't just say that for no reason. Anyway I'm very happy with this vet & the fact that they're 24 hrs. is a real bonus! RID: 33164
Click to report rating    2/13/12   2     3     2     1   This is the worst clinic. They don't care about your pet. They offer 1000 things that could be wrong and overwhelm you - asking you to run every test under the sun. They are cold and clinical and lack any kind of empathy. The reception staff are unfriendly and unorganized. I have been to quite a few vet practices but this is the worst one. RID: 32185
Click to report rating    2/12/12   2     5     1     1   NEVER GO HERE! The doctors don't listen and the technicians will threaten to call the spca on you and have your pet put down if you dont pay 75% of your bill upfront! I paid 2000 dollars for unnecessary treatment for a toxin from mould which i told them was impossible! Eventually they figured out my dog had meningitis and still wanted another 1000 dollars for ultrasounds in case it was my dogs liver. When I went to visit my dog while he was there I told one of the technicians he still want't back to normal and she laughed in my face and said the reason he wasn't walking properly was because he had a catheder, but I am the pet OWNER and I know my dog! I told them about 6 times a toxin was impossible and they treated him for one anyways, and if you deny their treatment they threaten you! Even if you know thats not what wrong! They did not ask if there were any previous symptoms or anything! TERRIBLE MONEY HUNGRY PEOPLE! RID: 32163

1/2/12   5     4     5     4   It took me years to find a website that rates veterinary hospitals. I've been coming here for almost 4 years now. And last summer, I took my cat here that was vomiting and this is my review for this clinic: I would highly recommend this clinic to everyone. The staff are very caring and very knowledgeable. They have a male assistant (who i thought was the doctor at first :p) that's very cheerful and that's always smiling. He is also very kind enough to let me know that I might have to wait for a bit because there's an emergency and that the doctors are taking care of it. I don't mind waiting as long as I am informed. This clinic is not the same long time ago where I or probably the other clients are unaware about the wait time. Yeah, the cost is a little bit pricy but I don't mind paying extra for their services that's satisfaction guaranteed. Kudos to the staff and crew at North Town! And to the male assistant that assisted me that night, keep that cute smile on! :) RID: 30231

11/10/11   5     5     5     4   Highly recommend this clinic; vets and technicians excellent and caring. I went to North Town last December afterhours with a very ill dog that was not going to make it through the night. Vet took action very quickly on helping her and informed me of what was needed to save my dog. She had to stay for several days for care. I was so impressed with the vets. The night vet updated me several times throughout the evening on her progress and comfort level. The daytime vets were all aware of her illness and could answer my questions. Technicians truly cared for my pet as if it was their own hugging her and telling me the day’s events. Made a horrible experience more comforting. I asked a lot of questions and they were answered or research with an answer always given. They have been fair as far as cost goes as well. My dog would not be here if it wasn’t for the knowledge and compassion of the staff at North Town. First time I have trusted a vet and that trust is comforting. RID: 29018

4/18/11   1     1     1     1   Brought my pet there for a high fever and allergic reaction to something. After keeping him there for 4 days and $2000 later they had no idea what was wrong with him. They mentioned it could be Tumor/Cancer and even a broken neck. They ALWAYS walk around with a clipboard and a price list, not to mention the three Doctors and three different opinions on what should be done to your pet. By far the worst Emerge Vet in Ontario. Click to report rating    12/19/10   1     1     1     1   Everyone has their own opinion of a clinic they have been to, all our experiences are different. My experience at this place was horrid at best... I was positive my persian had ringworm, they did not agree, kept mistreating the problem, I ended up going to a dermatologist in Thornhill and YES it was ringworn and when treated correctly it completely cleared up...... I would give this clinic a negative rating if possible.... you could not pay me enough to go back to this place regardless of who owns it... RID: 21505
Click to report rating    10/22/10   5     5     5     5   People, it is a 24hr emergency clinic. Yes you are going to have appointments pushed back and yes it's going to be pricey. If an animal is being rushed in because it was hit by a car, should everyone stop attending to the emergency at the EMERGENCY CLINIC so that you won't be 10min late?? No one is telling you to go there, you chose to. It's common sense that North Town charges more then a clinic that closes at 7pm. The staff is excellent and they do their best. They all have a passion for animals and for anyone to say they suck is completely wrong! Everyone is being way too critical. Doing what they do is hard work and very draining, especially when they are bashed for doing their best! RID: 20443

Click to report rating    8/28/10   1     3     3     1   In 2007 I brought my Vizsla to the clinic on a holiday long weekend. I thought she had bloat and paid $800 to find out that she *might* have had heat stroke. I was coerced into getting expensive bloodwork tests that tell the vets squat about bloat. What does do blood sugar levels have to do with an emergency condition like bloat? NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER go to this vet with your pet. If anyone in Brampton asks me about a vet I ALWAYS tell them to AVOID this clinic!! RID: 19451
Click to report rating    8/14/10   5     5     4     4   I have been coming here for 7 years. This place went downhill when the old owners left, but I came in last week to the news that the clinic has been sold (thank goodness)again. The last three vets that I saw have been replaced. There was a vet there that was helping to reorganize the staff and introducing one of the new vets to clients. They told me that they wanted to take a different approach with my dogs treatment for diabetes...and then told me that the exam was on the house!! They also apologized for any issues I have had with the place in the past and told me all about how they are changing how the place operates. They are clearly trying to improve the way they treat clients and patients. Call me impressed. They certainly seem to know what the issues are. I am very optimistic! RID: 19215
Click to report rating    8/10/10   1     1     1     1   Terrible place, took my cat there for Emergency treatment, very unfriendly, uncommunicative and unfeeling vet. wait time way too long, and seemed to be very disorganized. way overpriced. RID: 19155
Click to report rating    8/3/10   1     2     1     1   I have been using this place for the past 7 years and they have gotten worse. You are always waiting despite having an appointment, you are treated as a number not a person. They are more concerned with generating money than providing qality care and working with their customers and never have the time for you. After 7 years they still do not know me or my dog/situation, you are definitely a number here! After my last experience this past week, I refuse to take my dog back there. I spent $2300. and no specific reason why my dog was ill. North Town - try to work with pet parents who do not have tremendous amounts of money sitting in a bank account. Your staff turnover ratio is high which makes me question why? RID: 19069
Click to report rating    7/23/10   5     5     5     5   I don't know why this hospital is getting negative reviews. I brought my dog in after hours for vomiting and loss of appetite. The vet on duty was very caring and took his time. He suggested a bllod test/xrays etc but my budget would not allow it. He gave my dog an antibiotic, and some hydration subcutateously (sp?) and we came home. My dog remained sick so I took her back and another vet looked at her and gave her another dose of antibitoics and also suggested I get the blood tests/xrays done BUT again I declined. On the third day and a sicker dog, I went back after borrowing some money from family, and they admitted her and placed her on an IV. I was so tight for money, but managed to come up with the amount for the surgery they recommended. Well those doctors saved her life as she had a blockage (mango pit stuck in her small intestine). Not once did they make me feel I took too long to decide for the surgery. The staff is great and the hospital is A 1!! RID: 18911
Click to report rating    6/1/10   2     3     1     3   I took my rabbit in for an exam leading to a neuter. Dr.Omar Khan was nice but definitely was more friendly with dogs and more knowledgeable about dogs than with my rabbit; he only knew the basics. There was huge miss-communication and price discrepancies about the neuter. One secretary quoted me $130, another quoted $275. When I asked the vet, he quoted me $250. This happened for the price of the examination as well. I felt like I was cornered because suddenly I had to pay a price I couldn't afford and wasn't expecting to. Needless to say, I paid them what they wanted and walked out their doors forever. I was hoping they would be my main vet but am NEVER going back to this clinic again because of their disorganization and lack communication between staff. I'd rather travel 2hours downtown and pay more for a rabbit-friendly vet who knows about the species and cares about my bunny and not my money. I just booked my examination and neuter at Greenwood Park Animal Hospital (www.DrMunn.ca) RID: 18200
Click to report rating    5/14/10   3     2     4     3   Had to visit North Town for an after hours emergency...Dr. Omar Khan was very detailed in his exam and thoroughly explained his findings and subsequent estimate to us. The price for treatment did seem a little steep however consider that this was an emergency visit. Dr. David Mills spent over 30 minutes on the phone with us to explain the test results and treatment options to us...very patient! Facilities are a bit crowded and dated, could use some cleaning up and maintenance. RID: 17948
Click to report rating    12/1/09   5     5     5     5   Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Vets genuinely care for animals. They are thorough and friendly, hence the longer wait. I weighed the pros and cons but, I would rather wait longer to see a vet who actually cares for my dog than one who will rush though my appointment to see other patients just to make more money. Click to report rating    11/8/09   1     1     1     1   I called the owner to let him know about the unprofessional doctors he has, who said he would look into it and never called me back. The second doctor even gave her the wrong medecine (but wrote on our file he gave us the right medecine... lucky I brought the 5 bottles of pills the third time to prove my "case"). When I refused to keep her in that****whole overnight after three different diagnoses and the unprofessional nature of the place, stating that I would be taking her elsewhere, the clinic called the OSPCA and told them I neglected care and missed appointments. My appointment was SUPPOSED to be around Nov 3 (nothing was set yet) and I went twice after the first time on Oct 19(oct 29 and 31). It all came down to the money! The first doctor told me to call and keep her posted on her condition and/or if I had any questions or concerns. Yet, when I called the secretary said "Doctors don't speak to patients". THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO TREAT ANIMALS! RID: 15242
Click to report rating    11/8/09   1     1     1     1   I would not recommend this vet to ANYONE and have already informed all of my family and friends of the unprofessional, disgusting excuse for an "animal care facility". Took my cat there due to laboured breathing, where she was misdiagnosed by three different doctors in the span of two weeks. Not only was she misdiagnosed three times, there were THREE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DIAGNOSES! I brought her to VEC after the third time, where the vet there couldn't believe she was misdiagnosed by three people! She had cancer which one vet said was asthma, then it was pneumonia, then it was asthma again with fluid in the lungs... In the end it was two large tumors that were so large they were pressing on her heart and intertwined in her arteries and ribs. They caused my pet unnecessary suffering, on top of that starving her by giving her appetite stimulants when she was hungry already but in to much in pain to eat! RID: 15240
Click to report rating    6/29/09   1     1     1     1   Not nearly what it used to be. Crying shame. Go to Westbridge to see Dr. Buller, Hylands, Morin, Rosamund. Where proper care is practiced. Owners have no care or pride in facility, or for clients. RID: 13329
Click to report rating    9/16/08   5     5     1     1   Used to work for this clinic. The staff care. The people who used to own it - male vet... dangerous, female vet - beyond excellent. Now, since the buy out, they treat their staff like crap and the vets that had experience are all gone. Not worth the risk. Try Westbridge. Avoid male vet. All female vets VERY VERY WORTH IT. All the vets that used to be at NTVH are at Westbridge. RID: 10012
Click to report rating    8/19/08   1     2     1     2   Very bad experience using this vet's emergency service. Drove in 45mins from where my dog got a large number of quills in his face and mouth. Spoke with the tech, as I wasn't sure whether I should continue on to a less busy vet. I informed my dog would be looked at right away as it was better to get the quills removed than to let him paw at them. I was informed I could call in 2 hours to see how the quill removal went. When I called I was told my dog was just getting looked at and to call back in 1 hour. I called back in 1 hour and was told that my dog had just been sedated and the quills were not yet removed. I was frustrated by repeatedly being told he was 'just about to be worked on'. More pressing emergencies I can understand but accurate information is helpful. Additionally, I was charged for a bilateral ear cleaning? Was told this was added accidentally (no cleaning had been done) and I would be refunded the charge. Just received a letter with a 'credit' at the vet. no thanks! RID: 9718
Click to report rating    4/29/08   4     4     3     4   The major advantage is 24-hours. The staff and vets are great. I would be recommending them to all my friends. RID: 8309
Click to report rating    9/24/07   1     1     1     1   HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE vet. Not the same old Northtown it used to be. New owners don't care about the animal just the $$$$. Would NEVER, EVER go there again. RID: 5992
Click to report rating    6/12/07   5     5     4     4   There are cheaper vets but I truly believe the money spent at North Town is well worth it. They are open 24x7x365 which is fantastic when it's Christmas Day (been there) or the middle of the night (also been there) and your pet needs medical attention. Their after hours "vet check" prices are higher than the normal day rate but it's well worth it. They offer top of the line technology for surgeries and have cat scan etc on site. I have used this vet clinic for many years (and followed the owners from their previous clinics) because they are so wonderful. Occasionally they have been behind in their appt times but this has a lot to do with the fact that any animal that comes in that is seriously injured takes higher priority than those there for a check up. The vets don't watch the clock when they are in with you to allow you to ask as many questions as needed. While it can delay the start of your appt, I appreciate the personal attention they give to the pets and the owners. RID: 4503
