Every treatment done for our old cat at the very end of his life was about them getting paid. But the worst of all was that vets were constantly pushing to give him pain drugs which made him worse every time he received them during past 3 months of his life. Money grabbing over genuine care is what you get at this place.

Came here with both of my cats. Always felt like visiting an expensive business not a good vet. Disagreed with both vets I saw about their diagnostics. My male cat with bladder infection was apparently stressed out and my female cat with reaction to vaccination was told that she has ringworm. Sick and tired on spending hundreds of dollars for bad care.

I just found out after my latest appointment this clinic is now owned by AVC. They recently shut down some clinics I read online. I went to this clinic because I liked the doctors and staff and believed I was supporting local industry. The staff are great, we've always been happy there but this isn't what I, or my family, want in vancouver. Granville Island vet is across the street so we will probably switch before the prices get increased and things get too "corporate".

They took advantage of me & put my cat at risk. I took her in because of lethargy & dandruff. She had what I thought was a full exam & I left with a vague diagnosis of "food allergies" but a 450$ geriatric/senior blood test would be needed. Funny that they added 2yr to her age, just qualifying her as a senior. I decided to change her food & wait. 2 wks later she lost 4lb &had stiff hind legs with enlarged nodes. I desperately took her in & was told they needed the 450$ blood test + $400 for Xrays & aspirates of the "suspected" lymph nodes (shouldn't they know what a lymph node is?) I finally agreed to the blood test, & only then did they check her temp, almost like an after thought. She had a FEVER. I have an immunology backgrd, & fever/symp indicate bacterial infection, which was later confirmed by the blood test. After all this they claimed "lack of data" & wanted more tests. I wish I took her temp myself & saved $1000. They care about $, not your pet. Staff r nice but not competent.

Took my senior cat to Cats Only yesterday for the first time when I found him collapsed on the floor. The vet was busy but immediately looked at him and knew right away he was dying of Kidney Failure possibly due to Cancer. She recommended putting him down, didn't try to suggest medication or test etc to get more money and was very compassionate and understanding. Facilities were very clean and comfortable, everyone was very accommodating and they had great service. I will definitely go back if/when I rescue a new cat.

Have taken my cats here over the last two years and have had good quality and continuity of care from both the vets and other staff. Yes it's rotating staff, but if you like one vet, schedule a visit when that vet is working. I have had no issue with cost, as I find veterinary costs expensive as a whole, but these guys have been cheaper than some of the other clinics I have previously been to (Animal Care Clinic for one!) and have helped me out with scheduling tests etc. according to my pet insurance renewals. I trust that they have my kitties' best interests at heart.

We recently got 2 kittens from an animal rescue woman at TLC in langley. (By the way, do not get any cats from her. She says they are checked by a vet but I strongly suspect that is false.) Within our first week with our 2 kittens, they developed eye infections, herepes, clamidia, one got pneumonia and both had ear mites and fleas. The ENTIRE staff at Cats Only has done a fantastic and thurough job diagnosing the problems and treating these 2 little guys. Although it is a bit pricy, the vet, Dr. Robert Junkin, displayed an enormous amount of patience and took the time to explain the issues and treatments. I think is the sign of a GREAT vet. Our 2 little guys are on the road to recovery and would like to say a big Thank You to everyone at Cats Only. signed...King Henry and Sir Walter Reilly :)

I recently moved to the area and wanted to take my cat for grooming and a check up. The cost $$$ Hefty amount. However, i would do anything for my cat. Needless to say the receptionist was to call me in advance, which she never did. Thought this to be rude and endangering to my pet for they said i was to leave her without food/water for 18hrs!!!

This place has fallen appart since Dr. Margie retired. Just in it for the money, with the flash new place and nice furniture, but no longer a special place that cares for special cats. I'd rather go somewhere that the vets really care than somewhere with nice counters

$$$$$ they're in the money..tried to convince me to have my dying cat x-rayed for no good reason to explore possible cancerous tumor. They could simply feel if tumor was growing. They are OK if you don't mind parting with your money...but I didn't feel it was necessary for my cat to have an ultra sound just so they could try there new high tech toy. (and charge a couple hundred for it as well)

Missed a diagnosis of thyroid storming with a friends cat last year. Were "too busy" to fax over medical reports to another vet that had to see the cat on an emergency basis after his treatment or lack of treatment with them. Too many rotating vets to care about your cat, staff overwhelmed. They were better when they were a ONE vet facility. Don't bother unless you don't mind seeing a different vet each time. The cat passed away within 48 hrs.
