I was concerned about what looked like a rash on the back end of my dog that started leaking a blood tinged fluid. So as soon as I got home from work, I rushed him over to Bellamy-Lawrence AH. The staff were welcoming as soon as I arrived and were reassuring that my dog would be cared for which helped to calm my nerves. I was seen by Dr. K in a timely manner and he diagnosed my dog with a perianal fistula which I had never heard of before. He took his time to educate me about the condition and provide support in letting me know that any future issues my dog had, he would help treat as well. I recommend Bellamy-Lawrence Animal Hospital to anyone looking for personalized vet care for pets by friendly and caring staff at affordable prices in Scarborough.

AFTER OVERCHARGING AND MISDIAGNOSED AT CAVAN VET saying my cat is enimic, blood work, medications, return visits....FIRST VISIT at Brimley bad teeth my horror story over.Do your own research, (wish I had) CAVAN VET is soulless and predatory, only concerned with financing their new building to prey on the uninformed. Pay a fair price at Brimley and more importantly a correct diagnosis. I am going to every review site I can find and WARNING EVERYONE that I can, Cavan vet is PURE EVIL and post's it own (FAKE) reviews to offset the truth from real people that trusted their family members to the soulless corrupt vets at Cavan vet in Peterborough, may they burn in HELL for eternity and I will witness against them to my FATHER to garantee their bobsled ride to the lake of fire.Steven Winter

Horrible, don't care just a money making business. Wanted to put my poor dog charlie through unnecessary X-rays for $225 and surgery which in total would have been $1500, second opinion at different took care of everything for $500 and were shocked that somebody would have recommending surgery to removed a nail on his hind leg from an injury he sustained. I can't believe I almost signed off on that my poor little guy would have gone through unnecessary surgery but my gut told me that didn't seem right. Doctor here barely looked at him or checked anything else just wanted me to pay for surgery, the other place did thorough examination checked even his ribs head and how he walked and took care of everything for $500.00, in what was a relatively simple matter. This place is an utter sham... and dirty.

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL! I brought my dog Mac here in December due to him having a seizure. The vet said that we should do a X-Ray for $300, which we did. They then wrongfully told us that he had a tumour, and that we should do a ultrasound for his heart which would cost us $800. We were unable to afford this because their prices are too high. A week later max had another seizure, we took him to Brimley and Lawrence animal clinic when this happened and they were unable to help him they also looked very confused and did not know what to do, the vet was even reading the wrong file. He sent us to the nearest animal hospital. MAX DID NOT HAVE A TUMOUR! THEY WRONGFULLY DIAGNOSED MY DOG. The animal hospital only charged us $150 for X-rays, and $500 for an ultrasound. Max later passed away due to pulmonary edema which the Brimley and lawerence thought was a tumour. PLEASE DO NOT TAKW YOUR PET HERE!! IT IS DIRTY AND THE DOCTORS DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS! THIS PLACE JUST WANTS YOUR MONEY!

Very nice Vets and Vet Assistance employees - great value compared to other vets - 1/2 to 1/4 cost of our old vet we had been going to for 20 years. Hours are very convient.

My chow chow had been biting and licking his paw and when I checked it was red and discolored. The next day he stopped eating and he was crying. I took him in an emergency and saw the bet here. He did not even know what kind of breed my dog was let alone know how to approach him. My dog was extremely stressed and the vet had no clue what to do or ask just stood there. I advised my concern and had told him what happened and that I heard it could me an allergic reaction and I needed help because he stopped eating. He had no clue and was shocked and refused to admit that it was an allergic reaction. He began attempting to assess why my dog stopped eating rather than assessing the paw that is correlated to the concern. When asked if he knew what he was doing he said he had no idea what was wrong and had never seen a paw in this situation. I told him I felt uncomfortable and when I told him I was leaving he said ok and good luck. He had no idea.DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO THIS CLINIC PLEASE!

Dr.Armia treated my injured cat in a ethical manner putting the cats health above all concerns. His physical assessment was supported only by necessary tests. He concealed us in a nonjudgemental way. As a critical care nurse I recognized his dedication to his clients exemplary. Thankyou Dr.Armia

THEY KILL MY CAT!!!! I spent more than $2000 to just CHECK my cat's body. They still can't find out the problem. Then I sent my cat to emergency hospital that night, they said my cat was terrible sick! But before visiting this vet, MY CAT Just DIDNT pee in litter box! After their treatment, my cat can't even breath! I'm pretty sure they put harmful medicine into my cat!

This is a terrible clinic and I will never go here again under any circumstances. I brought an 18 year old cat with renal failure in because it was a Sunday and I had no other choice. The vet I saw told me there was no hope and I should just euthanize my cat. I thought that was a ridiculous thing to say after only a preliminary examination without even doing any blood work. I took my cat to her regular vet the next day (Highland Creek Animal Clinic) and she received treatment and went on to live comfortably until she was 19 1/2.

I took my senior cat to this clinic for the first time on Dec 21/14. I told the cat doctor repeatedly that my cat has allergic reaction to penicillin & showed her the medical paper from another animal clinic on this. This doctor gave me antibiotics to treat my cat who passed away less than 24 hours after. My cat was hanging on with my care & attention for 31 days. And this same cat was murdered by this doctor as I found out that the pills she gave to my cat has penicillin. I called this place the morning of Dec 22/14 asking to talk to this doctor, the owner or manager. This doctor was unavailable to speak to me when I was available. The Owner & the Manager refused to talk to me or provided me with other licensing information, etc. that I was asking. I feel that I had paid money to get my beloved cat murdered. This IS A SERIOUS PROFESSIONAL NEGLIGENCE AND A MEDICAL CRIME

I have used Brimley vet clinic a couple times. They are excellent when it comes to pricing. They have never overpriced and when we had a concern about our dog, they looked at him for free. The bad part, they are an assembly line. They are very quick with your animal and probably will and do miss things. I will use them for minor things. Shots, heartworm etc but i would never board an animal there or do major surgery.

I have been taking my dog to this clinic for the past 10 years. I have had very good service. But the last visit my dog was seen by Deepa. I was so schocked by the way she interacted with us. she was rude and didnt even touch my dog as part of her examination and when i asked her to check her heart she got angry and told me there is nothing to check and yelled at me and left the room and i can hear her talking to the other vets in the back room in Hindi about how horrrible my dog was. i talked to the receptionist and told her the situation and she said they will look into it but the only thing i could do was to inform the front desk in future that we do not wish to see her. I would never recommend this clinic unless you are financially struggling. But choose Dr Ravi. never DEEPA!!!!

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!!The female vet could care less about your beloved pet. I brought my dog in to be examined after an accident happened and needed my dog to be seen asap. The vet walked in casually and checked for a heartbeat. All the vet said was "there is no heartbeat" and just stood there and said nothing. No compassion, no ounce of empathy...NOTHING. The vet then left the room as quickly as she entered. Moments later an employee walked into our room and was trying to sell us cremation. Here we are grieving and they are trying to sell us cremation and not even offer and support or condolences. For god sakes say something like I'm sorry for your loss or anything.....THIS PLACE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR FURRY FRIEND THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

We recently used this clinic when we had an emergency with our dog. Due to Yelp reviews I was apprehensive however they were open when many clinics weren't ,they were close to home and as I had stated it was an emergency. I am so glad we took the chance to visit this clinic. Dr. Patel was wonderful with our pup, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. We received follow-up with tests results the next day and found them to be reasonably affordable. The front desk staff were pleasant and friendly and we will definitely be going back.

This clinic does NOT give PAIN control during surgery. Rather they expect You the pet owner to ask if Pain control. placing an intravenous, monitoring blood pressure, body tempwerature etc are necessary and then you can have these procedure at an upcharge. How is a pet owner supposed to know to ask these questions? Is a veterinarian supposed to lure you to their facility with artificially low fees that are low bwcause essential services are not included or is a veterianarian supposed to advise the client what is best for his pet and be honest in his advertized fees.All Ontario veterinarians are liscence by the same body but don't think for one second that that means that they remotely practise similarly. PUBLIC BEWARE and do your RESEARCH.

I saw a vet named Deepa Saggar. Her hygienic skills were dubious and her basic knowledge on pet illnesses was inadequate.I would never go there and would like to save people from being given such cruel and inane service. I'm worried my pet actually got sick from going there and being exposed to her dirty coat, retrospectively I wish I had just walked out when I saw she was unskilled and I regret that I didn't but I can try and save other people from the same faith.

I took my 3 month old puppy here to get shots a day later his health started to fade, by the seond day he had terrible diarreah and uncontrollable vomitting, he couldn't even hold down water, couldn't keep his eyes open like he was about to die, I took him back to the vet for them to charge me $30 to tell me I have to pay $700 for them to begin to tell me what was wrong with him. I told them I couldn't afford it, is there something cheaper I could do so they charged me $81 for meds that turned out to be for asthma in dogs, and a cheap quality ineffective water and sugar grinded down version of moxicillian. I took him back to the breeder, had his vet look at him, that vet told me how these guys rip people off, knowing what was wrong with my dog, he looked at the meds and said it was bull$h!t. Brought him right back to good health with vitamin shots and hand feeding (for days). He told us later it was due to shots by this vet that had been left out of the fridge too long and went bad

I have had very good experiences with this clinic. Last year, I brought in a female stray cat for spay surgery. Recently, I brought in a stray cat with badly injured leg. Both cats healed beatifully. This clinic has caring and professional vets and staff and reasonable prices. They don't value money first, instead, they keep animals' welfare as primary goal. Would recommend this clinic to anyone.

I unfortunately moved out of town and dont get to see them as regularly as I would like, but I still recommend this clinic to everyone I know in that area. My view about this clinic was good before I got completed screwed over for boarding my dog. I called a week ago and spoke to a receptionist to ask her if I could board my dog for the 24th and the 25th of december. She said, sure, no problem, we have space, call us a few days before or you can even drop by the day itself to board your dog and we'll have space for her. Well guess what? I call yesterday, talk to another receptionist, who said oh wait ill check, and next thing i know, there's no space and theyre all booked up! I completed freaked out because now i have nobody to babysit my dog and my christmas plans are completely messed up because of an incompetent receptionist that gave me the wrong information! I did get my dog spayed and vaccinated there and all went well, the prices were very cheap, but their staff at the reception are really as cheap quality as their rates. Im extremely upset at the poor quality of service I have received.

I took my pet in for 2 shots that should have cost around 60$ and ended up with a bill of over 190$. Owner will not discuss the overcharge, vet says the reception put down for the extra shots and the receptionist says the vet asked if I wanted the shots done. Yes the initial price may seem like a very good and cheap price, but frommy experience it cost much more in the end. Omplain about the price and the owner of the clinic will threaten to take you to small claims court and to never take your pet back to his clinic again. Never in my life have I seen a place run like this one. Don't walk away from this place .... run from this place .... believe me, I am saving you money and a headache

I would totally recommend this clinic, and was so happy to find them. They have VERY reasonable prices compared to every other vet clinic I contacted in Scarboro and the GTA. I had to take my cat in for spaying surgery, and not only was it very affordable but the surgery was a success with no problems whatsover. They even schedule a followup appointment 2 weeks after the surgery at no extra cost. The reception staff are really good, and the doctor was great, attentive and caring. First I had to have her shots done, which was only $39 for the basic shots, and other clinics charge $100 to $120 because they include a "consultation" fee. The total cost of the surgery, with HST and taxes, and take home medication, was just a little over $200, and at other places I called it would have been $350 to $450. The only thing is they dont have the fanciest premises or the nicest location, but really, the staff are good, the prices are awesome, and the surgery was a success with no issues

Been here twice in the aid of stray cats that I was bringing in for spay surgeries. One did not make it (the doctors fully explained the risks with the one whose health was jeopardized by a heart condition - we chose to risk it as a new pregnancy would have killed her just as easily) The cat that did survive, healed beautifully and is doing very well today. No complaints at all. Would recommend this clinic to anyone.

I will NEVER bring another animal here again. We brought our healthy 6 month old dog to be spayed, and from the moment she left that office she went downhill in health. She passed away 5 days later. There were no answers given to us from the vet at Brimley Lawrence until we transferred her to the ER where they finally explained to us what was happening. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

Brought my dog here for a neuter last week - NOTHING bad to say about this clinic and will be switching my other pets there immediately. Staff went out of their way to explain and answer any questions I had, were nothing but kind to the animals and their owners. AFFORDABLE and they don't try to gouge you for money! Neuter for large dog - $169. Heartworm meds for large dog - $20/dose. Yearly exam + vaccines - $39. Dogs surgery is doing well so far (fingers crossed) and we're very happy with our whole experience!

I dont understand this crap at all. Ive taken my sick kitten there when i got her from owners that were horrible. She had manx syndrom and this vet helped me get her healthy and going on her own.We took my husbands cat to get fixed and the surgery was perfect. They answered our question they explained what they were doing to our animals and what was needed. I dont get how so many people can hav something bad to say. I for one have not seen it

I've had my first Chihuahua spayed here. Great price. Only thing was that she had razor burn on one of her****, but this could happen in any clinic. I have a new chihuahua puppy and I will take her here to be spayed when the time comes. Prices are so much lower than other places. I've brought my puppy in for her vaccines & deworm and they trimmed her nails for free. I appreciate not being nickle and dimed. The place is nothing fancy, but that is fine. Its a great place for those that want to give there pet all the vacines and heart worm meds and treatments their babies need, but don't necessarily have the luxury of price not being an issue. Maybe rescue groups and breeders go to this vet, so it must be good if they alow their babies there...

I have been going to this vet for a very long time and i have had no problems so far. The staff is great. They are friendly and helpful. the doctors there has been treating my cats for the last 6years and they've been there through the good times and the bad. I'm so glad I found them. Their prices are great and they are always improving. I understand that for some people it might not be their cup of tea but they sure are mine.

I went to this vet for my first visit with my 1 and a half year old dog who had very bad breath. I was told that there was nothing wrong with her and paid $30 for the examination that took 10 minutes or less. Afterward, I took her to another vet and she was diagnosed with gingivitis and needed dental cleaning...I will never visit this vet clinic again!!

I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Although vet technicians were very nice and helpful, when it came to veterinarian care, this was extremely poor. We took there our cat Snowy, a longhair Angorra, for a neuter surgery, which performed by Dr. Jassal. He did not have the surgical area shaved before the surgery. He just cut Snowy's testicles. The result looked like some butchery was performed on Snowy. Snowy was probably still bleeding when he was discharged. But I did not know that. Upon discharge they asked me to leave him in his carrier for another hour. Those unshaved hairs around the surgical site, now glued together with his lost blood looked horrible. It must have been painful for him. When I checked the site on Tuesday I saw seminal cord protruding out through a tiny incision. I took Snowy to another vet. They performed 'a neuter repair'. It was also necessary to prescribe antibiotics. Based on care that Snowy got there we believe that animals are at risk at this AH.

This was the second time I came here and honestly I didn't think I would be getting better service than the first time (it was that great), but Dr. Kahlon surprised me again. My dog had a lump and I was very worried, but I met Dr. Kahlon himself and he answered all the questions I had, making sure I was completely comfortable with everything. I went back the next day to get my dog, not only was the surgery perfect, my dog had no problems at all. I am so happy that I go here, it is definitely worth it!

I have been using this vet for several years for my cats after struggling to find a suitable veterinarian. I have had many cats spayed and neutered there as well as very sick cats cared for. I have had wellness kitten checks and cats prepared for export to other countries. Through all of this I have found this vet caring and thorough. I have never seen a post op infection and have never lost an animal to lack of care. The vet is caring and straight forward when talking to me regarding my cats. Prices are very reasonable compared to many of the clinics I have visited but the care has been superior! Good job Brimley Lawrence! Thank you.

The first and ONLY time I ever stepped in this clinic was with my dog. We brought him in for a drop off in the morning so he could be neutered. The person behind the desk was not too pleasant, did not have the vet check the dog over with me AT ALL, and then proceded to ask me to sign a consent form for the surgery. In her exact words "this is for you to sign in case SOMETHING happens to your dog". ??? I said...what do you mean SOMETHING. She could not explain anything to me and seemed very uneducated in animal care. I simply took the dog home and found another (wonderful) vet to neuter him. He cost me a lot more, but was worth every penny. This place is trully CHEAP for a reason. I will never go there again. I learned that you do get what you pay for.

I've gone to this vet with my dogs for regular check ups. I would recommend them if your pet is looking for standard shots but not for serious injuries and suspicious diseases.

I have dealt with the veterinarians at this clinc for the past 2 years. We run a small rescue and are in there on a weekly basis. The vets are very caring and have gone out of there way to help us. They are open seven days a week which is great. The office may not be pretty but we are paying for the services not for the decor. I have used different vets in the past and good and bad things could be said about all of them. I will continue to use them and recomend them to others.

I had a terrible experience with them, with a feral kitten I rescued. The 1st vet I saw looked at her like she was a sewer rat and told us that we should put her back in the dumpster we found her in because 'you can't tame feral cats'. Which I know is a complete lie because I've rescued several before. We then saw another vet there who wouldn't even reach into her cage. We had to get her ourselves sans gloves or any protective hand gear (this feral kitten was NOT happy). When she scratched and caused a fuss he turned the cage upside down and shook it until she fell out. She got scared and fell off the table and hit a garbage can, the twice more because he let go of her. He then stuck needles into her and did other things without explaining anything to us, or asking permission to do it, and didn't answer any of our questions that we asked. They don't seem to know much about animals, or how much their families love them. A negative experience, and a vet clinic I will never recommend.

Very busy but staff always available to ask "Who is next?" Very friendly,caring,and understanding staff. I have called on a few occasions to see a vet the same day and I was always accomodated with excellent service everytime. I certainly am impressed with the service, the vet and of course the fees. Thanks for taking care of my cats.

Our kitten fell off the balcony (cat-sitter) and the vet was great, talked us through everything we had to do medication wise, free follow up visit. Not a ritzy office, but if you're not a snob (a-hem, some other reviewers)there's nothing wrong with it.

amazing vet, the best I have been to by far. I brought my dog in for a neuter...a regular price for his size and age(newfoundland/3 years) would be like 500, it was only 250! It's very clean, the staff is very friendly, and they are good at what they do. My dog's surgery went very well, they could see my dog had allergies due to his rashes and gave us lots of information and recommendations. He also goes in 2 weeks after the surgery to be checked to make sure everything is all good...with no extra charge. Overall this vet is awsome, will be using them from now on.

This vet is great.....after priceing around the city for a vet that will do a spade and shots and the fallow up app. and prices ranging from $ 350 and up ... and after looking into the tours( the vets offices that would do one) This office is great. They are clean , safe , sterile, up to code and the staff is frendly, sweet and kind towards all animals( even when the animal is not ) I don't go anywhere else, regardless that i live on the other side of the city, and i would recomedn this vet to anyone that is looking for a caring, clean and positive adventure for there animal.

We use this clinic for our cat rescue. The staff is friendly. The vets are excellent.The facility is clean. I do trust them for we have no had any problems. We have over 10 cats altered there a week, so that has to say something.

Excellent Vet. They saved my dogs life and did it with compassion and care. The staff is super friendly and while other vets were more worried about closing time and their bottom line, this vet stayed open for me late and the Doctor took time out of his day (after close) to let us stay and explain what was going to happen. Have been to many vets and this location is by far the best I have ever been to. Do not listen to the other reviews. This is the BEST VET in Toronto.

Would honestly never go back there. Not very clean, didn't feel confident with the veterinary care. No staff up front to greet you, they were all at the back most of the time. Cheap prices for a reason, be careful.

I DON''T KNOW Y EVERYONE IS TRYING TO GIVE THIS CLINIC A BAD NAME ,THEY ARE GREAT!JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE BEST PRICES IN TOWN DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOB

No frills, dirty. They dont even take the time to clean the tables before a new animal comes in. The Vet does not take the time to talk to you about your animal, just rushes you through and does not seem to care.
