Dr Walt Rosskopf is incredible. He listens very carefully to everything you say and treats you and your pet with great compassion. He never rushes and never assumes. Other vets I have visited rushed and made wrong diagnoses too many times. Dr Walt Rosskopf has many years of EXPERIENCE, he knows what works even if its not the latest trend. He has saved the lives of mine and many others rabbits. Out of the many 'rabbit savvy' vets I have visited in LA Dr Walt Rosskopf is the best. I never leave there feeling I need a second opinion as I have done with others.

This is Dr Walt Rosskopf's veterinary office. Famous avian and exotics vet. Zero ego, all gentle care. I literally started crying after my first visit with him because he was so awesome. Every other vet I've been to is too rough with my bird, too quick to perform expensive diagnostic procedures, and not willing to be collaborative with me in treatment (ie, not willing to listen to any of my input). Dr Walt is different. Great listener, doesn't rush you out, has something like 40 years of experience. He is famous for his treatment of rabbits, birds, and tortoises/turtles. If he doesn't know the answer, he'll tell you. I love that he is honest and says "I don't know for sure what's going on, but I do know it's not serious, and here is how I know that."
